Volts is a lightweight modpack build around ICBM-Classic for use in PvP servers. The pack includes very few mods to shift the focus from a tech race to competitive gameplay. Allowing players to join into an on-going game and start playing without feeling left behind.

Additionally, the lightweight nature has the bonus of reducing hardware strain. This allows the pack to be run on more devices and contribute towards a large audience for servers. Which is greatly need in any PvP ecosystem to keep large games running.

Recommended Play Style

Its recommend to setup Volts as a fast faced no rule PvP server. Including short duration resets to clear out battle damage. As well allow player to start fresh and not have to worry about existing dead bases.

If this method is not used it is recommended to include other mods and plugins. Mainly ones focused on map regeneration and player kits to help deal with lack of resources near spawn.

Its also recommended to create a spawn randomization system. Either through the use of mods to teleport players to random positions; or, through the user of a no-pvp spawn city featuring a teleportation nexus.

This is a Minecraft 1.12 update of the modpack Voltz-Classic from 1.7.10 Minecraft. Posted as a separate modpack to allow updated to the original without causing problems for users. As well offering a chance to include different mods supported by the current Minecraft version.
