This Modpack is meant to give an extremely frustrating challenge to the base game, while still keeping the gameplay vanilla-eques with no heavy modding included.

The main things to talk about are a few features some of the mods add.

Tough As Nails:

A temperature and Thirst system is added. (Currently you have to configure Hand Drinking [Right Clicking on water to drink] in the world config. It it planned to be fixed soon)

Hardcore Torches + Ominous Darkness:

Deadly Combo. Torches / Lanterns go out [Hardcore Torches], and if you stay to long in the dark, you DIE[Ominous Darkness].

Improved Mobs + Farsighted Mobs + Angry Mobs:

Mobs can see you from much further away, and will stop at nothing to get to you, including destroying blocks, flying on parrots, or using guardians to get to you. (Some blocks are unbreakable, but more blocks will be configured with later updates.) BTW, all passive vanilla mobs are now neutral

Miner's Lung + Harder Strip Mining:

If you go below Y=0, you'll suffocate + strip mining is more difficult

Complex Overhaul

Almost everything in Minecraft is more difficult to craft. It took me about 15 minutes to get a crafting table with this mod by itself...
