Better caves and mineshafts

Players who seek refuge underground will find open caverns and winding mineshafts. These sometimes give way to dungeons filled with enemies and treasures. Resourceful players can collect ores and resources to build up their homes.

Technology

Inventive players can use tech mods to automate many tasks. Machines from Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, and Thermal Expansion cover many aspects of minecraft automation. Immersive Engineering and Extreme Reactors 2 provide many ways for players to power their machines.

Magic

Arcane players may find that Ars Nouveau helps scratch that magical itch. Using this mod, players can craft spells and build magical constructs. Players can also automate their bases with the assistance of fluffy familiars.

Decoration

Artistic players can deck the halls to their heart's content with the assistance of mods like Fairy Lights, Macaw's Doors, and MrCrayfish's Furniture. Players can also control the smoke coming from their industrious efforts with the help of Advanced Chimneys.

Farming

Agrarian players will find their harvests plentiful thanks to Simple Farming and Mystical Agriculture. Tech inclined farmers may find Botany Pots and Industrial Foregoing to be especially useful.

Difficulty

Players will find that the longer they play and the further they go from spawn, the stronger their enemies become. Players will also be able to become stronger by using heart and power crystals provided by Scaling Health. The mod pack can also be quite difficult at the beginning because the surface is rather barren.

This mod pack also comes Snow Utils to help players make something with all of the extra snow. Players can craft snow cones, snow bricks, and powerful loaded snowballs. Snow Golems can also be upgraded to throw loaded snowballs by right clicking them with a block of the desired level (Gold, Iron, Diamond, or Netherite). Freezing potions, brewed with an awkward potion and ice, may come in handy when you need something to stop moving for a few seconds.
