Outbreak- Containment Lost-0.4.0-beta
What's new
Outbreak: Containment Lost — v0.4.0 beta
The Containment Overhaul
This is the largest update to Outbreak: Containment Lost so far. Version 0.4.0 greatly expands the pack with new infection content, survival systems, weapons, wildlife, structures, environmental details, building options, world-generation improvements, and extensive performance work.
The infection timeline, infected AI, shaders, controls, configuration files, compatibility systems, and public CurseForge packaging have also been rebuilt or substantially revised.
Alpha Notice: Outbreak: Containment Lost remains in active development. Features, configurations, progression, compatibility, and balancing may continue to change before the full release.

Outbreak EPCA Performance Compatibility
Added Outbreak EPCA Performance Compatibility v1.0.0 — Early Beta, a separate optimization addon developed specifically for E-PCA 0.3.5 and 0.3.5m.
The addon targets several expensive infected-AI operations that could cause severe server lag, long tick delays, and major FPS drops when large hordes were active.
Performance Improvements
- Fixed infected mobs repeatedly searching for nearby light sources every tick after an unsuccessful search.
- Added a proper retry delay to failed infected light-source searches.
- Reduced how frequently inactive infected scan large areas for potential targets.

- Replace or edit the original E-PCA JAR.
- Contain or redistribute E-PCA textures, models, sounds, or other assets.
Supported Environment
