Novas Terras (New Lands) attempts to create a medieval fantasy-infused worldspace. Beginning as a simple modpack for a few friends, it has quickly become a much more ambitious project.

Featuring:

Combat

The pack features multiple combat mods, all affecting the gameplay in meaningful ways. You can now dodge roll [Combat Roll], and your attacks will have windup times and animations [Better Combat]. These changes are complimented by a third-person over-the-shoulder camera [Shoulder Surfing], making third-person melee a viable and fun way to play.

Equipment

There are now several new pieces of equipment added to the game, ranging from medieval armor and weapons [Epic Knights], to magical armor sets with their own unique buffs [Immersive Armor]. These changes keep it simple, while still being fun and engaging.

Magic

There are two main magic mods included in this pack, one to include magical items in everyday gameplay, as well as randomly generated boss fights and entirely overhauled enchanting [Apotheosis], and one for more involved spellcasting [Ars Nouveau]. These are here to raise the progression ceiling and keep you engaged.

World Generation

Included are dozens of world-generation mods, effecting almost every single part of the world. From the highest peaks [WWOO] to the deepest caverns [Various mods by YUNGNICKYOUNG], you will see beautiful vistas and stunning structures.
