Industrial Rivalry 1.0.0 - The Beginning
Industrial Rivalry is officially alive.
Build your own civilization, establish colonies, automate industry, trade with your neighbors and slowly accumulate enough military equipment to make diplomacy increasingly optional.
This first release establishes the core gameplay of the pack:
- Create-focused industry, automation and logistics
- Create: Aeronautics with aircraft, ships and custom war machines
- TaCZ firearms and military equipment
- Multiple MineColonies colonies for mining towns, lumber settlements and remote resource outposts
- The Hordes with stronger Blood Moon attacks to give all those guns something productive to do
- Farmer's Delight and meaningful food production
- Ars Nouveau, Apotheosis, Relics and Artifacts for a reasonable amount of magic
- Exploration, structures, dungeons and loot
- Trains, power systems, factories and unnecessarily complicated infrastructure
- Performance and compatibility work throughout the pack
Easy infinite food items have been disabled because agriculture should probably remain relevant for longer than fifteen minutes.
Vehicles are intended to be designed by the players themselves. Once you have created a functional design, schematic production is completely fair game. Creativity is mandatory once. Repeating yourself fifty times is not.
The intended multiplayer progression is simple:
Build. Trade. Expand. Defend. Industrialize. Develop weapons. Question your neighbor's intentions.
The Geneva Suggestion will provide recommended rules for keeping wars destructive, entertaining and preferably recoverable.
Your railway is now important.
This is unfortunate.
Welcome to Industrial Rivalry.
