Conscientiousness Modpack 2.0

What's New

Conscientiousness 2.0 expands the modpack with new social, exploration, building, multiplayer, and quality-of-life features while continuing to build on the systems introduced in the first release.

New Mods

• TeamTasks: TodoList — Keep track of projects, objectives, and tasks directly in-game.

• MCA: Social Expansion — Expands the social interactions available with MCA characters.

• MCA: Conversations — Adds expanded conversations and dialogue.

• MCA: Quests — Adds additional quest content and objectives.

• MCA: Reputation — Adds reputation mechanics to interactions with MCA characters.

• Open Parties and Claims — Adds party management and land claiming for multiplayer worlds.

• Exposure — Adds a photography system and new ways to capture and interact with the world.

• Archeological — Adds archaeological exploration and discoveries.

• Ping Mod — Makes it easier to communicate locations and points of interest with other players.

• Music Maker — Adds tools for creating and playing music.

• Joy of Painting — Adds painting and artwork for additional decoration and customization.

Updated

• MCA Reborn has been updated to a newer version, bringing the core MCA experience forward alongside its new expansion mods.

• ImmediatelyFast has been updated for improved compatibility and performance.

• Additional mod dependencies have been refreshed as part of the 2.0 update.

Improvements

• More social gameplay: MCA now has expanded conversations, quests, reputation, and social interactions.

• Better multiplayer coordination: TodoList, Open Parties and Claims, and Ping Mod provide new tools for coordinating projects and playing together.

• More ways to explore: Archeological and Exposure add new activities beyond the existing exploration experience.

• More creative options: Music Maker and Joy of Painting provide new ways to personalize builds and worlds.

• More organization: TeamTasks: TodoList makes it easier to keep track of large builds, projects, and other long-term objectives.

Technical Changes

• Updated to Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge 47.4.23

• Refreshed the CurseForge modpack manifest and dependencies.

• Removed the distributed options.txt so the modpack no longer overwrites players' personal keybinds and client settings.

• Cleaned up the modpack distribution so CurseForge-hosted mods are retrieved through the manifest rather than unnecessarily bundled in the archive.
