Slate Veinminer

Beta. An early build of Slate: expect bugs, you can report them on the Discord.

Slate Veinminer breaks a group of blocks at once: hold a key, mine one block, and the rest of the vein, the tree or the shape you chose goes with it. An outline shows what will break first, and claims, Fortune, Silk Touch and tool wear apply as if you mined by hand.

Mining

• Hold the grave key (under Esc), FTB Ultimine's key, or set it to toggle.
• Everything that will break is outlined, with the shape and the count by the crosshair.
• The drops land where the first block was.

Shapes

• Shapeless takes every connected block of the kind; the others are tunnels 1×2 and 3×3, a staircase, a 3×3 square and a column.
• Turn the mouse wheel while holding the key to change the shape.

Right-click

• Harvest and replant every ripe crop joined to the one you click.
• Strip a whole tree with an axe; till with a hoe, make paths with a shovel.

Server rules

• At most 64 blocks a use by default, each costing a little hunger; the vein stops before the tool breaks.
• Allow and deny lists, and permissions through Slate Server's roles.

Requirements

Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge or Fabric, Java 21) and 1.20.1 (Forge or Fabric, Java 17); on Fabric with Fabric API. Needs Slate Core. The server and the player both need it to veinmine. Use only one veinminer mod.
