Description
Better Distant Horizons
Beta. An early build of this fork: expect bugs, and report them on the Discord.
This is a fork of Distant Horizons 3.3.4 with block cards, faster loading atmospherics compat and 3D LODs for cubic worlds. Replaces the normal Distant Horizons jar.

Block cards
Flowers, grass, crops and saplings are drawn as crossed textured planes; fences, torches, chains, bars and ladders as silhouettes. Configurable distance.

Scheduling
- Nearest and in-view sections are built first; what you move away from is never built.
- Generation keeps running while you fly fast or a new world is still starting.
- No minute-long stall after a teleport; rebuild requests are merged.
High render distances
The render thread only touches sections with something to draw; tree ticks that took a third of a second now take milliseconds.
Dithered fades, sane haze at any distance, underground sections skipped in daylight, a usable depth buffer from 80 000 blocks up.

Fog
Atmospheric fog compat.
Real terrain gets the same haze, so there is no step where LODs begin.
On a globe (Realistic Earth): air to the world's scale, sky to black with altitude, the blue rim from space, clouds with a ceiling.
Clouds fade out when flying very high.

Better Cubic Chunks
Better Cubic Chunks: Allows LOD to be 3d cubes too, making it work vertically when used along the md better cubic chunks.

Realistic Earth
Realistic Earth: the real Earth at any scale. LODs come straight from the map data, so a continent appears at once; the world is drawn as a globe with the atmosphere above it.

Requirements
Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, Fabric (with Fabric API) or NeoForge 21.1. Remove the normal Distant Horizons jar. Sodium and Iris work. Better Cubic Chunks is optional.
