Description
Slate Multiplayer
Beta. An early build of Slate: expect bugs, you can report them on the Discord.
Slate Multiplayer adds friends to Minecraft: who is online and where, groups, messages with pictures, invites, and voice through Simple Voice Chat. A server with the mod keeps them for its players.

Friends
- Add friends by name, see who is online and on which server, and join them with one click.
- A player card shows their skin, their status and the groups you share, with Message and Join.
- In the Overhaul layout your friends stand in a meadow and wave when pointed at.

Groups and messages
- Groups of friends, each with a chat of its own; in the Overhaul layout a group sits round a campfire.
- Direct and group messages with pictures, screenshots and voice clips.
- With Simple Voice Chat: speaking rings, mute, the volume of each player and voice groups.

One hub
- On a server with the mod, friends, groups and messages are kept by that server.
- A server can open a hub port (25580 by default): set it as your home hub and the friends list works from the title screen and on servers without the mod.

Requirements
Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge or Fabric, Java 21) and 1.20.1 (Forge or Fabric, Java 17); on Fabric with Fabric API. Needs Slate Core. It goes on the client, and on the server for that server to keep friends and messages. Simple Voice Chat is optional.
