Description
Slate Quests
Beta. An early build of Slate: expect bugs, you can report them on the Discord.
Slate Quests is a quest book for a server or a singleplayer world: quests in trees, one tree a chapter, and a quest can hold a tree of its own. Progress is shared by a team with Slate Teams. It comes with an example book of about 200 quests and reads FTB Quests books without FTB Quests installed.

The book
- Press J. Each chapter is a tree to drag and zoom; a quest's sheet shows its tasks, rewards and what it leads to.
- A quest can open a tree of its own, in a tab or unfolded under it.
- Search with
/, filter to what is left, and take every waiting reward with Claim all.

Islands
- In the Overhaul layout each chapter is an island in the sky, built of blocks in its theme.
- Each quest is a pedestal with what it asks for turning above it, and paths are laid as quests are done.
- V switches between the tree and the islands.

Writing a book
- Build it in the game with the editor, or write JSON in
config/slate/quests/. - Tasks for items, kills, blocks, places, advancements and more; rewards from items to commands and loot tables.
- An FTB Quests book is converted when the world starts, with what players had already done.

Requirements
Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge or Fabric, Java 21) and 1.20.1 (Forge or Fabric, Java 17); on Fabric with Fabric API. Needs Slate Core. It goes on the server and is optional on the client. Optional: Slate Teams (team progress) and Slate UI (the islands).
The rest of the Slate line
NeoForge and Fabric for 1.21.1, Forge and Fabric for 1.20.1. Free to use in modpacks.
