Slate Shops
Beta. An early build of Slate: expect bugs, you can report them on the Discord.
Slate Shops gives a server one currency and shops: server shops that operators fill, and shops that players run from their own stock. Everything is a command, so players without the mod trade through chat with words to click; with it, /shops and the Slate hub open screens in Slate's look.
Money
- One currency per server, in whole numbers. Its name, a symbol ("$125" instead of "125 Coins") and a new player's starting 100 are set in
config/slate/shops.json. /moneyshows the balance and/pay <player> <amount>sends money. Operators give, take and set balances.- With an
exchangeItemset (an emerald, say),/money depositand/money withdrawturn those items into money and back.
Server shops
- Made by operators in the shops screen, or in Slate Server's administrators' menu.
- An offer is an item with all its data (enchantments, name), how many a trade gives, a price and an optional price the shop pays for it.
- Their stock never runs out: money paid to a server shop leaves the economy, money it pays out is new.
Player shops
/shops create <name>opens your own: up to 27 offers (maxOffers), each a stack from your inventory as it is, with a price and an optional price your shop pays for it.- The stock is real items:
/shops stockshows it,/shops stock addand/shops stock takefill and empty it. Buyers pay the owner, online or not. - Nothing is lost or doubled: a trade runs whole once the buyer has room, an offer holding stock cannot be removed, and shops and balances are saved with the world.
