Falling Leaves Plus enhances Minecraft's falling leaf particles with detailed, tree-specific visuals that make forests feel more alive and distinctive. Instead of every tree shedding the same simple particle, each leaf type can produce its own unique collection of leaves, branches, acorns, cones, and other natural debris. 🍃
The mod brings personality to every forest biome. Oak trees release acorns, spruce trees can drop cones, and many leaf types feature multiple particle variations for a richer and more natural appearance. Snow-covered leaves release snowflakes, adding extra atmosphere to winter landscapes. ❄️
Beyond the built-in effects, this mod is fully resource pack driven. Custom particle textures and behaviors can be added for modded trees and resource packs, making it easy to extend the system far beyond vanilla Minecraft. 🎨

- 🍃 Ambient Falling Leaves: Expands Minecraft's ambient falling leaves with richer visuals and greater variety.
- 🌳 Tree-Specific Particles: Different tree types can produce their own unique leaves, branches, acorns, cones, and other debris.
- ✨ Particle Variations: Individual leaf types can use multiple particle textures for a more natural and less repetitive look.
- ❄️ Snowflake Support: Snow-covered leaves can spawn snowflakes instead of leaves for a more atmospheric winter experience.
- 🌧️ Weather-Reactive Effects: Rain and thunderstorms can increase particle activity and wind strength for livelier storms.
- 💨 Custom Wind and Motion: Leaves can swirl, drift away, fall at different speeds, and respond to configurable wind direction.
- 🧱 Natural Collisions: Particles can collide with visual block shapes, helping leaves settle more believably on detailed blocks.
- ⚙️ Flexible Customisation: Adjust particle density, size, lifetime, wind, gravity, collisions, affected blocks, and more.
- 📦 Resource Pack Driven: Particle textures and behavior can additionally be customized through resource packs.

⏩ INSTALLATION REQUIRED ON CLIENT
⏩ REQUIRES PUZZLES LIB TO BE INSTALLED (FABRIC & NEOFORGE)
⏩ REQUIRES FABRIC API TO BE INSTALLED (FABRIC)
⏩ REQUIRES FORGE CONFIG API PORT TO BE INSTALLED (FABRIC)

If available for a mod, configuration is possible directly from in-game using the mod menu (requires Mod Menu by Prospector to be installed on Fabric).
For manual configuration using an external text editor all files are found at .minecraft/config, named as MOD_ID-client.toml, MOD_ID-common.toml, or MOD_ID-server.toml, depending on the type of config. Not all types might exist for a mod, if any at all.
Global particle behavior is configured through the mod config, while individual vanilla and modded leaf types can be customized through resource packs.
Detailed documentation, configuration examples, and a complete reference of all available options can be found in the README.md on GitHub.

🌟 Special thanks to PringleBeaver for creating the beautiful falling leaf particle textures that define the look of this mod.
