What's new

Changelog

v1.0.1 (2026-11-02)

  • Browser: values in the header as labeled blocks (never split), profession header with your skill and recipes known, Home with the addon's icon and a summary, cleaner navigation path, legend explains every color, prices in search and Home lists, other characters' counts listed in full.

  • Creatures inside dungeons and raids show the instance name and a dungeon/raid tag (Classic clients have no maps for instances); map IDs the client doesn't have are never opened (fixes an error with map addons).

  • Holiday vendors count only while their event runs (game calendar), per event; patterns from quests count as free only when you can do the quest (faction, class, profession).

  • Fixes: an error opening some Season of Discovery patterns, profession names on Korean/Chinese/Italian clients, missing texts on English clients.

  • Where to get: quest rewards (with prerequisite quest, class and profession needed), holiday vendors marked and listed last, other faction's vendors and quests marked, creature rank (elite, rare, boss) and dungeon/raid, bind-on-pickup and reputation needed for recipe items, likely world drops explained.

  • Leveling plans skip recipes of the other faction and patterns that bind on pickup (unless a vendor sells them).

  • Profits use the market value (Auctioneer/TSM) when the current auction price is a spike.

  • Profession names from the client in every language; class spells summarized in the tooltip; recipe-item icon before the name; prices in search results.

v1.0.0 (2026-11-02)

  • Gathering guides for Herbalism, Mining, Skinning and Fishing (nodes, zones, creature levels), and a Trainers tab on every profession with the nearest trainers of your faction.

  • Most profitable plans: only 10 of each crafted item count at the auction price (the rest at the vendor price), and patterns count as buyable only from a vendor or a recent auction price.

  • Leveling plans: recipes learned together with the profession count from skill 1 (no more gaps at the start); totals always shown, steps without prices marked "?"; Poisons only for rogues.

  • Where to get: a Disenchanting sub-tab for dusts, essences and shards, with the item quality and level range, armor/weapon chances and average amount.

  • Prices: age shown next to old auction prices; lists, shopping lists and plans warn about missing or stale prices and, with the auction house open, update exactly those items through Auctionator in one click. Prices refresh after scans, merchant visits and closing the auction house.

  • Leveling plans follow your bags (have/missing) without recomputing; WoW Forever bank tabs are saved while the bank is open.

  • Data split into one load-on-demand addon per game version: each client only loads its own data.

  • WoW Forever supply crates (Merchant's Favor): materials show which crate they fill and how many; crates get a "Fill" tab.

  • WoW Forever Legacy: leveling plans count the Working Overtime perk and mark the 150 / 225 / 300 Legacy milestones.

  • Camping is detected only on WoW Forever (no false camp objects on Classic).

  • WoW Forever camping: camp-object recipes tagged, a Camping page, and the station each recipe needs (anvil, loom, sewing machine, cooking fire...) with a page per station. Herbalism, Skinning and Fishing recipes included.

  • Merchants that ask for currencies (Merchant's Favor) show that cost, and it is never mistaken for a gold price.

  • License: GPL-3.0-or-later. Drops, vendors, nodes and chests for every reagent are embedded from QuestieDB, so common materials like cloth (which the Questie addon drops at runtime) show where to get them.

  • "How to get it" hint by material type also on Classic Era.

  • Item tooltips show which recipes and class spells use the item, what it disenchants into, quest items and unused trade goods.

  • Recipe browser (Alt+Click an item, /wif [item], minimap button or profession window button): how to make it, what it is used in, skill levels colored for your character, known recipes, recipe items, endless drill-down.

  • Complete profession guides: every recipe grouped by skill bracket, filters (all / known / missing / learnable now), trainer or recipe source.

  • Leveling plans say where to train each rank (Journeyman, Expert, Artisan...) with the skill and character level it needs.

  • Leveling plans in two modes, cheapest & fastest or most profitable, with the materials for the whole plan.

  • Where to get an item: vendors you visited (exact price, coordinates) and, with Questie, every known vendor and drop; map waypoints.

  • New window layout: sidebar with search and professions, tabs on every page.

  • Where to get: sub-tabs (vendors, drops, nodes and chests, your loot), nearest first with the distance.

  • Installs Questie and Auctionator automatically through CurseForge.

  • Integrations: Syndicator counts, Baganator corner icon, LibDBIcon minimap button, ElvUI skin, Auctionator search, quests from QuestieDB.

  • Version shown in the window title and minimap tooltip.

  • Recipes that need a pattern you don't know are tagged everywhere; leveling plans use them only when the pattern can be bought, adding its price.

  • WoW Forever reviewed against its own UI code: known recipes via C_SpellBook, chat links via ChatFrameUtil, bank tabs and reagent bag, loot sources without GetLootSourceInfo. API audit runs in CI for every client.

  • Map pins on the world map and minimap through HereBeDragons (works on Classic Era); the map opens through the standard toggle so map addons can handle it.

  • Owned counts (bags, bank, other characters), how many you can craft, which of your characters know a recipe.

  • Auction, vendor and disenchant values, crafting cost and profit (Auctioneer, Auctionator or TSM).

  • Search, favorites, recent items.

  • Shopping list down to raw materials, Auctionator shopping list export, on-screen goal tracker.

  • Options panel.

  • WoW Forever, Classic Era (Season of Discovery recipes only on Season of Discovery realms), TBC Anniversary, Titan Reforged and MoP Classic.

  • English, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Spanish and Russian.
