Snowball Fight is a fun and engaging World of Warcraft Classic addon inspired by the Feast of Winter Veil event, where snowballs become farmable and festive fun takes center stage. This addon allows you to host friendly snowball battles with guildmates or other players in a fast-paced, team-based game format.

Key Features:

  • Randomized Text Channels: Each game is hosted in a unique text channel to avoid interference from other ongoing games. Old channels are automatically removed when you join a new game to keep your interface clutter-free.
  • Easy Game Setup: Share a 4-digit game code in guild chat or whisper the host with the keyword snow to join the fun. Teams are randomized as players join, with no limits on team size.
  • Structured Gameplay:
    • Pull Timers: 20-second countdowns start each round.
    • 3 Rounds: Each round lasts 2 minutes, with cumulative scores tracked.
    • Intermissions: 20-second breaks between rounds to view a detailed player scoreboard.
    • Simple Scoring:
    • 1 snowball hit = 1 kill
    • 1 snowball received = 1 death
    • Teamkills are tracked but don't affect team scores.
    • Red vs Green Teams: Players are automatically assigned to Red or Green teams as they join, ensuring balanced and randomized gameplay each time.
  • Fair Data Tracking: Hits only register on active participants during rounds, ensuring clean and accurate stats.
  • On-Screen Scoreboard: Displays cumulative team scores for each round. Three dots at the top of the screen represent round wins, lighting up as teams win. If there's a tie, no tiebreaker occurs.

Gameplay Notes:

  • Recommended Snowball Supply: Players should ideally carry 40–50 snowballs per round (or 12 slots for a full game) to balance movement and strategy.
  • Unlimited Team Sizes: With the addon’s custom setup, there’s no limit to team sizes—whether 10v10 or 200v200!
  • Non-Raid Format: Snowball throws don't work in raid groups due to in-game limitations, so matches are solo player-based and grouped via text channels.

Game Duration:

  • 3 Rounds: 2 minutes each (6 minutes total)
  • 3 Pull Timers: 20 seconds each (1 minute total)
  • 3 Intermissions: 20 seconds each (1 minute total)
  • Total Runtime: 8 minutes per game

Games are short, fast-paced, and repeatable for extended fun. The addon is designed to make the most of your snowball supply without becoming repetitive.

  • Snowball throws don't damage players or aggro mobs, ensuring a safe and fun experience.
