Rookie's Road
Your guided journey from level 1. Rookie's Road watches how you play and checks off milestones for you, then always shows your next 3 steps in plain English. No guides to open, and no spoilers.
Type /rr to open it.
What it does
- Always shows what to do next: a short "next steps" panel with the three milestones coming up, each with a reason it matters and a tip.
- Tracks your progress automatically: finish a quest, equip a bag, learn a profession, or enter your first dungeon, and it's checked off without any typing.
- Celebrates your wins: a message on screen and in chat when you complete a milestone, plus a pointer to the next one.
- Full checklist when you want it: press *Show all* to see every milestone, done and still to come.
- Remembers each character: progress is saved per character, and things you've already done are credited the first time you log in.
Milestones included
- Getting started: your first quest, an extra bag, and visiting a vendor.
- Learning your craft: class trainer, a profession, and a secondary skill.
- Joining in: your first dungeon, joining a group, and joining a guild.
- Getting around: Hearthstone, mailbox, bank, and the auction house.
- Surviving: your first death and what to do about it.
- Level goals: levels 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60, each with a tip for what to focus on.
