Forever Journey Log
Your leveling story, kept for you. WoW Forever is about the journey, and Forever Journey Log records it. It tracks your level splits, writes a timeline of your milestones, takes screenshots at the big moments, and shows how your characters compare.
Find the book icon on your minimap, or type /fjl.
What it does
- Level splits: it records your played time when you reach each level. When you level up, chat tells you how long that level took and how you compare with your fastest other character.
- A journal of your milestones: a timeline, newest first, of everything that matters:
- Every level-up, with how long the last level took
- Your first time in each dungeon
- New zones you discover
- Your deaths
- Quest milestones: your first, then 10, 25, 50, 100, and more
- Rare and better loot
- Your own notes, with `/fjl note Found the hidden cave` - Automatic screenshots: a screenshot every 5th level and at level 60, plus the first time you enter each dungeon. You can switch to every level, turn them off, or add rare loot.
- Compare your characters: the Characters tab shows every character side by side, with played time, deaths, zones, quests, dungeons and rare items. It also lists your fastest time to each level across all of them.
- Share your journey: one click gives you a summary to copy and paste anywhere.
- Interactive Button: left-click opens your journal, right-click opens the share window. Drag it wherever you like.

Good to know
- Install it before you start leveling. The best records come from a new character, because splits are recorded as you reach each level. If you install later, it can still work out when you reached your current level, but not the earlier ones.
- Time played comes from the game's own report. The addon asks for it at each level-up and hides the usual chat message.
- Screenshots are saved by the game in its usual screenshot folder.
- Your characters all share one journal list across your whole account, so you can compare them.
- Forever Journey Log only reads what happens in the game. It never changes anything.
Feedback and ideas
Forever Journey Log is new and actively being improved. If you hit a bug or something looks wrong, please post it in the comments or on the Issues tab, with your level, what you expected, and the Lua error text if you got one. Ideas are welcome too.
