My Forever Profession

Every profession on every character, in one place. My Forever Profession tracks your skills, tells you the moment a new rank or camp item is ready, and shows you what each of your characters can do.

Find the gear button on your minimap, or type /mfp.

What it does

• Alerts when a rank is ready: in WoW Forever you can train your next rank as soon as you have the skill, before you hit your cap. My Forever Profession tells you the moment that happens, with the cost and your new cap.
• Knows the level rules: if your skill is ready but your character level isn't, you get a heads-up, and another alert when a level-up makes the rank ready.
• Warns you at your cap: if you hit your skill cap without training, you'll know right away.
• Camp item unlocks: every profession has three camp items at skill 20, 140 and 300. You're alerted when each one unlocks, with what it does and how to get it.
• All your characters linked: every character you log in on joins the list automatically, across all your realms.
• Login summary: when you log in on any character, chat shows what's ready to train on your other characters.
• See who has what: the By profession tab lists every character with each profession, and shows which of your characters can supply each other, like a Herbalist for your Alchemist.
• Camp items for every profession: the Camp items tab shows all three items for each profession, what each one does, how to get it, and which of your characters have unlocked it.
• A built-in guide: rank requirements, costs, and a short overview of all 12 professions, including what each pairs well with.Aa green number shows how many ranks are ready across all your characters.

Good to know

• Other characters update when you log in on them. Skills and levels for an alt show as of their last login, and the window shows how long ago that was.
• Alerts and popups are for the character you're playing. Your other characters get the login summary instead.
• The first time you log in on a character, it stays quiet about things you'd already reached. You'll only be told about ranks that are ready to train right now.
• Some camp item descriptions aren't confirmed yet. The item names and skills come from game data for version 1.60.1, and items without an official description say so.
• Rank rules for Cooking, First Aid and Fishing follow the same rules as crafting professions.

My Forever Profession is new and actively being improved. If you hit a bug or something looks wrong, please post it in the comments or on the Issues tab, with the profession, your character level, and the Lua error text if you got one. Ideas are welcome too.
