The OakUI Installer has been completely re-engineered from the ground up, moving away from legacy frameworks to natively adopt EllesmereUI as its core backbone. This shift delivers an ultra-sleek, lightweight, and high-performance 1-click installation experience perfectly tuned for competitive gameplay on 1440p displays.
Whether you are pushing high Mythic+ keys, raiding, or leveling, this suite injects pixel-perfect profiles directly into the best addons in the game, dynamically adapting to your class, spec, and role.

- EllesmereUI Core Integration: Complete architectural shift to EllesmereUI for a modern, minimalist, and deeply optimized game interface.
- Danders Frames Integration: Beautifully curated and pixel-perfect layout configurations for Danders Frames, fully integrated right out of the box.
- Ellesmere Tweaks Suite: A powerhouse menu of custom automation, visibility toggles, and layout overrides built to complement EllesmereUI:
- Hide Player/Pet: Toggles visibility options to completely hide the Player and Pet frames when you don't have a target selected.
- Smart Player: Automatically forces the Player/Pet unit frames to show (even if hidden) whenever you or your pet drop below full health.
- Show Player in Group: If your Player Unitframe is normally set to hidden, this will automatically force it to display the moment you join a party or raid.
- Hide CDM: Toggles Ellesmere's Cooldown Manager visibility options to seamlessly hide the CDM when you have no active target.
- Compact Utility CDs: Intelligent layout shifting. If you have less than two rows of Essential Cooldowns in the CDM, this automatically shifts your Utility Cooldowns directly beneath the lowest visible Essential Row to eliminate dead space.
- Compact Resource: Classes with only one resource/power bar will have that bar dynamically positioned directly above the top essential cooldown CDM bar.
- Hide Action Bars: Hides the action bars completely unless you mouse over them. Mousing over any bar will cleanly show all of them at once.
- Hide Chat Background: Adjusts Ellesmere's chat frame settings to create a beautifully transparent background with a smooth fade.
- Chat Line Fade: Bypasses Ellesmere's entire-chat fading system to use Blizzard's native per-line fading instead.
- In-Game Font Engine (No Folder Setup Required!): NEW in v2.0.0! You no longer have to log out of the game to drop folders into your directory. The custom font suite utilizes LibSharedMedia to let you instantly choose fonts, adjust sizes, toggle outlines, and apply global font rules across individual elements (like combat fonts, nameplates, objective text, and quest frames) right from the UI.
- The OakUI Chat Engine: A robust, native chat filtering system built directly into the installer.
- Auto-Layout: Instantly size and stack your General and Loot chat windows perfectly with one click.
- Smart Filtering: Cleans up chat spam by simplifying Loot, XP, Reputation, Quests, and Achievement broadcasts. Inspired by Chat Cleaner by GoldpawForever.
- Loot Parser: A bulletproof custom parser that works seamlessly with your chat injections to show exactly who looted what, cleanly and colorfully.
- Bulletproof Installer & Fallbacks: The suite automatically detects missing or disabled addons, provides instant download links, and can Force Enable disabled addons with one click. If an auto-install ever fails, use the Raw Imports tab to manually copy your strings!

🛠️ Installation Guide
We have made the installation process as foolproof as possible.
- Install Dependencies: Download and enable OakUI along with the required addons listed above.
- Open the Installer: Log into your character and type
/oakui or /oak in the chat to open the Profile Manager.
- Apply Edit Mode FIRST (Crucial): Click the Copy Layout button next to Blizzard Edit Mode. Open your WoW Edit Mode (
Esc -> Edit Mode), click the Layout dropdown, select Import, and paste the code. Save it!
- Install All Profiles: Click the large Install All Profiles button at the bottom of the OakUI window to push the profiles to EllesmereUI, Danders Frames, Platynator, and XIV_Databar.
- Choose Your Role: Enter a profile name (e.g., OakUI-Tank/DPS) and select whether you want the Healer or Tank/DPS layout. Click Install.
- Configure Your Fonts: Head over to the Custom Fonts tab right inside the menu to pick your text styles, sizes, and elements. (Note: Combat text and floating name font changes will require a quick
/reload or relog to finalize).
- Fine-Tune with Tweaks: Open the Ellesmere Tweaks tab to enable your preferred smart conditional hiding, combat layout modifiers, and mouseover bar settings.
- Reload UI: Click the prompt to reload your UI, and you are ready to play!
