HearthPaws enhances World of Warcraft’s native Housing pet picker with powerful filtering, sorting, organization, and model controls while keeping Blizzard’s original Housing interface and pet placement flow intact.

Create your own filter categories and assign pet species exactly where you want them. Custom filters support Active and Passive filtering, allowing you to include or exclude assigned pets, while multiple filters can be combined using OR logic within a category and AND logic across categories. Filters can also be locked so important selections remain active when other filters are cleared or reset.

HearthPaws includes Quick Assign, making it easy to add pets to custom filters directly from the Housing pet list, as well as configurable Filter Shortcuts and Quick Assign Shortcuts for frequently used filters. Filters can be renamed, moved between categories, imported, exported, and managed without losing their existing assignments.

The custom filter, Quick Assign, and shortcut systems follow the same general concept used across CompanionCollection, DecorScribe, and StyleWeaver, providing a consistent workflow between these addons while keeping each addon specialized for its own collection type.
