Custom Filters

Create your own filter categories and assign decorations directly from the Housing catalog.

Custom filters support:

• Active and Passive filter modes
• Locked filters that remain active when selections are cleared
• Moving filters between categories
• Persistent decor assignments
• Category-based organization

Quick Assign & Shortcuts

Use Quick Assign to rapidly add decorations to a selected custom filter without repeatedly opening menus.

Frequently used filters and Quick Assign targets can also be placed on configurable shortcut buttons for fast one-click access.

Wishes, Favorites & Hidden

DecorScribe adds dedicated organization tools for:

• Wishes
• Favorites
• Hidden decorations

Each group supports Show, Hide, and Only modes.

Favorite and wished decorations are also marked directly on their catalog tiles for easier identification while browsing.

Sorting

DecorScribe adds additional sorting options for the Housing catalog:

• Quality
• Size
• Placement Cost
• Quantity
• Decor ID

Sorting can also be combined with:

• Reverse Sorting
• Favorites First
• Separate Ownership

Blizzard’s native sorting remains available and intact.

Import & Export

Custom filter structures and their decor assignments can be exported and imported, making it easier to back up or share your organization setup.

Your categories, assignments, shortcuts, marker states, sorting preferences, and display settings are stored persistently.

Shared Addon Concept

DecorScribe follows the same core concept for custom filters, sorting, Quick Assign, and shortcut buttons used across CompanionCollection, HearthPaws, and StyleWeaver.

This creates a consistent workflow between the addons while allowing each one to keep the filters, sorting options, and controls that make sense for its specific part of World of Warcraft.
