Cursor Coords

Shows map coordinates right next to your cursor on the world map, plus your own position. Simple options window and minimap button.

A quest says "head to 42, 65", a guide lists a herb spot, or a friend wants to meet at a certain point. Cursor Coords shows the map coordinates right next to your cursor on the world map, so you can find any spot just by pointing at it.

Features

  • Coordinates at your cursor. A small label follows your cursor around the world map and shows the coordinates under it. It disappears when the cursor leaves the map.
  • Coordinate bar. A bar on the map shows the cursor's coordinates and your own position. Put it at the top or the bottom of the map.
  • Your own position. Shown in the bar while you look at the zone you're in, and in the minimap button's tooltip at any time.
  • Your choice of detail. 0, 1 or 2 decimal places, three text sizes, and an optional dark box behind the cursor label so it's easy to read on bright parts of the map.
  • Minimap button. Left-click to turn the coordinates on or off, right-click for the options. Drag it around the minimap edge. The icon turns grey while the coordinates are off. Works with round and square minimaps.
  • Options window. Every setting has its own checkbox or button, with a tooltip explaining what it does.
  • Lightweight. One small file, no libraries, and it only does any work while the world map is open.

How to use

  • Install it, open your map (M), and move the cursor over it.
  • Left-click the minimap button to turn the coordinates on or off.
  • Right-click the minimap button for the options.
  • Drag the minimap button to move it around the minimap.

Type /ccoords (or /cursorcoords) to open the options, /ccoords toggle to turn the coordinates on or off, or /ccoords minimap to hide or show the minimap button. Cursor Coords also has an entry in Options → AddOns.
