Blackthornes Farmer
Farmer learns from your own farming. Every kill, every drop and every coin you loot gets counted, so the drop rates and the gold a mob is worth come from what really happened in your game. Pair it with Blackthornes Tradeskills and every drop is priced from your own auction house scans, so the value is what you'd actually get selling it.
Need a stack of Wool Cloth, some Iron Ore or a few Heavy Leathers? Type the item in and Farmer shows you which mobs, nodes and vendors have it, where they are and what a kill is really worth. Set a goal and an arrow takes you there.
Made for WoW: Forever.
What a mob is really worth
A panel on the side of your screen counts every kill and everything you loot from it, coin included. Once you've killed a mob 20 times, Farmer stops guessing and uses your own numbers: how often each item drops, how many come in a stack and how much coin the mob carries. Drop rates measured on Forever get a green Forever tag.
Those numbers turn into a true value per kill. With Blackthornes Tradeskills installed, Farmer prices each drop from your own auction house scans, the same prices Tradeskills uses, and follows any price you set there yourself. Scan the auction house and the next kill is worth what the market says today. Without Tradeskills, Farmer uses what a vendor pays. Grey items always go at vendor price. The Rankings tab lists mobs by that value, so you know exactly which ones are worth your time. Mobs you haven't killed enough yet still show an estimate, marked with a ~, until your own numbers take over.
The panel also shows what your loot this session is worth and your gold per hour. It keeps your run through a /reload or a relog, and the Clear button starts a new one. Click any mob to see its full loot table.
Find where to farm
Search for an item, a zone or a mob. /farm wool cloth shows everywhere Wool Cloth comes from. /farm westfall shows what's worth farming in Westfall. Levels are coloured the way the game colours a target, so you know what you can handle. Click any column title to sort by it.
Ore and herbs your skill can't gather yet drop to the bottom and say why, like "needs 125, you have 80".
Goals and the arrow
Click Goal next to an item and pick how many you want. The goals panel shows how many you have, a progress bar and how long the rest should take at your pace. Your bags count, and your bank can too.
Setting a goal turns on the arrow. It's a small gold dial on your screen that points at the nearest place to get your item, with the distance under it. It skips a node you just picked until it grows back, and turns into a green check when you get there. If you use TomTom, Farmer can hand the waypoint to it instead.
Where to level
The Grind tab is for levelling. Pick a level range and a creature type, and it lists the camps where those mobs hang out, busiest or nearest first. Click a camp and the arrow takes you there.
Gathering and fishing
Herbs and ore you pick are marked on your map and minimap. After you've come back to a node a few times, Farmer learns how long it takes to grow back and tells you. Fishing is tracked by zone and by school, with your own catch rates.
Hover any material, in your bags, at the auction house or in a chat link, and the tooltip tells you the best place near you to farm it.
Only what you want to see
Don't care about a certain mob, node or item? Right-click it and hide it. /farm hidden brings it back.
Share your numbers
Have a second account? Turn on sharing and both accounts add up each other's kills, drops, gathering and fishing. You can also hand your numbers to a friend as a line of text they paste in.

Good to know
Tradeskills isn't required, but it's what gives Farmer real auction house prices.
