Description
Benediction
Paladin blessings on autopilot. Benediction works out which paladin gives which greater blessing to which class, keeps every paladin in the group in step, and puts the next cast on one button.
Made for WoW: Forever and TBC Anniversary. In English, German, French and Spanish.
Coming from PallyPower
Benediction works the way PallyPower does and runs alongside it.
- It feels like PallyPower. There's a cell per class with its greater blessing and timer, coloured green, yellow or red. The mouse wheel steps through blessings, and Shift includes the ones other paladins give.
- It makes the assignments for you. In PallyPower someone works out who blesses what. Benediction plans that from each player's spec, the way the PallyPower Auto-Assign WeakAura does, and can plan again each time the group changes.
- Not everyone has to switch. Paladins still on PallyPower Forever, PP Forever or Paladin Toolkit stay part of the same plan:
- Benediction paladins show up in their addon's window like any other paladin.
- Benediction sees what they're assigned and plans around it.
- It sends them their part of the plan, straight into their addon, whenever their addon accepts it. Most accept it from a leader or an assistant.
- A leader can still assign from PallyPower's window, and Benediction keeps those assignments.
Plans by spec
- Every player's spec comes from their own Benediction, an inspect, or a guess from class, role and mana. Specs that are learned are remembered across sessions and groups.
- Each spec has its own priority list, which you can reorder by dragging. Tanks never get Salvation, and they take Light second when a Holy Paladin is in the group.
- Players can ask for their own blessings, and you can set a list for anyone on the Players page. Their list goes first.
- Each paladin's greater blessing for a class is the one most of that class wants. A plain blessing covers the player the greater one is wrong for.
- Set any cell by hand and it stays put. The mouse wheel steps through the choices, as in PallyPower.
Plans for the whole group
- One copy of Benediction plans and the others follow, so every paladin casts from the same plan.
- Press Auto-assign, or have it re-plan whenever the group, a spec or a request changes.
- The plan and everything set by hand survive a reload, a relog and the group changing.
- Paladins without Benediction are planned for too, and one press whispers them their part.
Casts from one button
- The assignments bar's big button casts the next greater blessing owed: missing ones before ones running low, in range first. Right-click casts the next plain blessing.
- Each class gets a cell, as in PallyPower. It shows the class's greater blessing, how many players need it cast and the time left. It's green when everyone has it, yellow when some do and red when nobody does.
- Hover a cell for each player's blessing and timer. Click to cast, and use the wheel to change who gets what.
- Your aura sits beside the button.
- Move, lock and restyle the bar: Minimal, Compact or Detailed, as a row or a column, at any size.
- Set keys for the next blessing, the next plain blessing, your aura and the window.
- In combat it waits and catches up as soon as combat ends.
Chat commands for everyone
Players without the addon can whisper a paladin or type in group chat:
!bless want kings, might: ask for blessings, in order. A leader can put a player's name first.!bless clear: drop your request.!bless missing: who is missing a blessing.!bless report: which paladin blesses each class (!bless report minorlists the plain blessings).!bless assign: re-plan, for leaders and assistants.!bless help: list the commands.
Small typos in blessing and player names are understood. The PallyPower Auto-Assign WeakAura's !pp commands work too.
Slash commands
/bene: open the window./bene assign,/bene missing,/bene report: the same as the chat commands./bene specs: each player's spec and where it came from./bene sync: who plans and which copies of Benediction this one hears.
