This mod is currently up to date and compatible with the latest Sims 4 patch: PC 1.126.78.1020 / Mac 1.126.78.1220, released August 6, 2026.

Please make sure your game is fully updated and that any required dependencies are also using their latest versions.

As always, delete older versions of the mod before installing an updated file and remove localthumbcache.package after replacing mods.

If you experience an issue, please test with only this mod and its required dependencies installed before reporting it.

Sims can apply for food assistance, report who lives in the household, submit job income, enter housing and utility costs, upload verification, and schedule an interview with caseworker Renee Forbes.

Players can choose the actual interview day and time, receive an automatic reminder before the appointment, complete the interview, and receive an official approval or denial notice explaining the decision and the household’s next steps.

Once approved, Sims can activate their EBT card, create a PIN, receive scheduled benefit deposits, and manage a completely separate EBT balance.

Shop at Jaye Neighborhood Market

Approved households can shop for exact groceries through the Jaye Neighborhood Market.

Players can:

• Browse different grocery departments
• Choose the exact products they want
• View grocery pictures before purchasing
• Select individual pack quantities
• Review regular prices and store savings
• See how much EBT will cover
• Complete free Store Pickup
• Receive groceries inside the returning Sim’s personal inventory
• Review detailed grocery receipts and purchase history

The physical grocery market is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Physical groceries are available through Store Pickup. The selected Sim will leave the lot, collect the order, and return with the groceries in their personal inventory.

Prepared Food EBT Shopping

Eligible households can also shop for prepared foods and have them delivered by a Jaye Benefits Team Courier.

The prepared-food market includes more than 60 exact options, including:

• Hamburgers and Hot Dogs
• Grilled Chicken, Steak, and Salmon
• Ramen and Noodle Meals
• Pizza and Takeout
• Snacks and Small Bites
• Breakfast and Brunch
• Quick Meals and Microwave Dinners
• Family Meals and Comfort Food
• Vegetarian Options
• Single, Family, and Party Servings

Every prepared-food order includes the regular price, Jaye Market savings, EBT payment amount, household payment, courier fee, estimated delivery time, and a completed receipt.

Your choices may affect approval, benefit amounts, reviews, overpayments, appeals, and future case decisions.

Important Installation Information

Please remove every older Jaye Benefits file before installing V1.

Your folder should contain only:

JayESimsxJayeHinson_JayeBenefits_EBT_V1.package JayESimsxJayeHinson_JayeBenefits_EBT_V1.ts4script JayESimsxJayeHinson_JayeBenefits_PreparedFood_PICKUP_ONLY_ADDON_V1.package

The ts4script should be no more than one folder deep.

Delete localthumbcache.package after removing the older version and before reopening the game.

The Prepared Food addon is required for prepared meals and courier delivery. Physical grocery Store Pickup and the main benefits system are handled through the main V1 files.

Important Note

XML Injector is required for this mod to appear and function correctly in-game.

When selecting a grocery item, the quantity menu may take about five seconds to open, especially when the item has several pack options. This is normal. Give the menu a moment to load before clicking again.

Jaye Benefits V1 Cheat Codes

Create an Approved Test Account

jaye_ebt_player_setup 546 1234

Creates an approved benefits case with:

• §546 monthly benefits

• An active EBT card

• PIN 1234

• An opening EBT deposit

Change the numbers to choose a different benefit amount and PIN:

jaye_ebt_player_setup 800 5678

Important: Running this cheat again may add another opening deposit.

Set the EBT Balance

jaye_ebt_set_balance 500

Sets the household’s EBT balance to exactly §500.

Replace 500 with any amount:

jaye_ebt_set_balance 1000

Activate or Unlock the EBT Card

jaye_ebt_unlock_card 1234

Activates the card, clears failed PIN attempts, and sets the PIN to 1234.

Replace 1234 with any four-digit PIN.

Check the Benefits Account

jaye_ebt_status

Shows the household’s case status, EBT balance, benefit amount, next issuance, and other account information.

Check the EBT Card

jaye_ebt_card_status

Shows whether the card is active, locked, lost, or waiting for replacement.

Run the Installation Check

jaye_ebt_release_check

Checks the main script, account data, case owner, reminders, grocery systems, prepared-food addon, and possible duplicate files.

Repair a Missing Case Owner

jaye_ebt_repair_owner

Repairs missing household case ownership without deleting the application, balance, or case progress.

Restart Interview Reminders

jaye_ebt_restart_reminders

Restarts appointment reminders and background case processing after traveling, reloading, or changing households.

Clear a Stuck Grocery Cart

jaye_ebt_picker_clear

Clears the current physical grocery selection so the player can start a fresh cart.

Cancel a Stuck Store Pickup

jaye_ebt_grocery_order_cancel

Cancels a physical grocery pickup that became stuck. The cart remains available, and the mod should not charge EBT or household funds.

Cancel a Stuck Prepared-Food Order

jaye_ebt_prepared_cancel

Cancels a prepared-food courier order that never finished and clears the pending authorization.

Reset the Entire Benefits Case

Warning: This deletes the household’s Jaye Benefits case data and should only be used when the player wants to start completely over.
