This mod is currently up to date and compatible with the latest Sims 4 patch: PC 1.126.78.1020 / Mac 1.126.78.1220, released August 6, 2026.

Please make sure your game is fully updated and that any required dependencies are also using their latest versions.

As always, delete older versions of the mod before installing an updated file and remove localthumbcache.package after replacing mods.

Jaye Cash is a mobile money app for your Sims. They can request money, send money, get ignored, get paid, and actually have buffs/notifications tied to what happens.

JAYE CASH FEATURE CHANGELOG

• Request cooldowns are now tied to the specific Sim your Sim asked.

• Sims can still request money from other people while another cooldown is active.

• A reason is now required for every send and request transaction.

• Added preset reasons for bills, food, emergencies, transportation, medical needs, school, work, borrowing, repayments, and more.

• Added an Other / Personal option for custom typed reasons.

• Added more request outcomes.

• Sims can approve, decline, ignore, or be unable to pay.

• Declined requests now include a response.

• Ignored requests may include a reason for the lack of response.

• Removed relationship scores from transaction notifications.

• Fixed custom request amounts taking money from the wrong Sim.

• Fixed custom send and request notifications.

• Notifications now clearly show who paid and who received the money.

• Notifications now display the reason for each transaction.

• Added icons to every reason option.

• Added new icons to the phone and relationship menus.

• Removed version numbers from player-facing gameplay menus.

• Cleaned up menu names and notification wording.

• Kept the typed custom-reason option for sending and requesting money.

INSTALLATION REMINDER

You must delete the previous Jaye Cash package and TS4SCRIPT files before installing the new update.

Do not keep both versions inside your Mods folder.

After installing the update, delete your localthumbcache.package file and completely restart your game.

Your Sims can use their phone and go to:

Social > Jaye Cash

From there they’ll see:

Jaye Cash: Request Money
Your Sim can pick someone they have a strong enough relationship with and send them a money request.

Jaye Cash: Send Money
Your Sim can send money directly to another Sim.

Jaye Cash: Account
A small account/status screen for the Jaye Cash system.
