FEATURES
I kicked off with quality of life features:
- inventory sorter.
- minecraft PE easy bridging feature
- a lot of decoration blocks, a lot of useful items such as lockable doors and quality tooltips
- easy reroll functionality in enchanting table
- carrying mobs and some special items using left shift + right click
- workstations have a portable version to right click in hotbar.
- a map book called "atlas" that can be filled with empty maps (sliced maps for closed-roof dimensions) to keep track of terrains you explored and pinpoint special locations, and also, view your coords along the biome you are in.
- sleeping bags and hammocks to skip the day and sleep at night without setting spawn point.
- item physics, now cactus can't destroy your fancy armor and lava cant burn realistically fire immune items
- craft the xp tome to store up to 1400 xp points (about 30 lvls) inside it.
- waystones to skip traveling on foot from somewhere to another. A price for teleportation!
- better wolves, armors and callable horses for epic travels (tame a horse, then press "J" to make it your personal horse, and to call it, whistle with "C").
- a woodcutter (named sawmill) like a stonecutter, along with a carpenter villager
- when you die, you corpse is what stays.
- if you play with friends, you can revive before dying!
- all crafting recipes are unlocked and can be viewed in inventory with additional info
- your spyglass now has a special place in your pocket, and a keybind "Z" to use it.
- you can now prone using keybind "V" instead of using a trapdoor or elytra flight.
- wanted to sail like a pirate? I gotchu with great ships. start sailing with "Y" when you get onboard.
- put a bell in your offhand when you go fishing! you will like it.
- I can put vertical slabs and carpets on my stairs?!
- A ring of enderchest?!?!
- there is an automatic crafter!!
- A sled to ski on the snow!! how beautiful!
- food in minecraft got extended, you can also craft a lunch box with all nutrients needed.
- with the "cutting board" and a tool, you can do useful things! search in your recipes to learn more about it!
for the player view, animations and combat by:
- you can dodge attacks using the roll by pressing "R"
- you can wield 2 one-handed weapons to attack faster (like 2 swords)
- quivers are an archer's best friend... store arrows inside it, and toggle which one to use, using the "K" and mouse wheel keybinds. right click with arrows on quiver to store them
for the mobs and bosses:
- dragon eggs can be right clicked for something special... what can it be? and does it change color when put on a specific block like magma?
- a ton of vanilla friendly mobs that may have easter eggs (alex mobs)
- 4 new challenging big bosses (bosses of mass destruction)
- some world gen mods added new mobs like the wither horse
- wither skeletons now are everywhere the nether, what reward is awaiting after all?
- pillagers are more invading and are far more dangerous, with a bigger and scarier family...
- you will come accross chest-protecting mini bosses while trying to loot some structures.
- a lot of AI enhancement to all vanilla mobs (scariest is enderman and zombies)
- watch your reputation in villages, don't tell me why villagers kicked your a**
- after slaying the warden, his heart is left, what is it used for? maybe a portal?
- mob drops were edited to make it more balanced.
- some recipes were reworked to balance the features.
nerfs and difficulty scaling:
- healing is slower (like bedrock edition).
- a skill tree is added to balance spicy difficulty (you earn the strength by grinding more)
- branch mining gets harder the more you go down, this encourages caving.
- searching for ores is harder now, as there is the poor and rich variants.
- the wither, the ender dragon, and the elder guardian are more dangerous, and more rewarding, and each time, the fight gets harder.
- spawners are more challenging to remove now.
- you now have to worry about your diet, or you will be engorged. I recommend the lunch box. If you eat a good diet, good rewards comes your way!
- warden will not kill mobs, instead it will enslave them.
- speedrun regulating your body temperature or simply die.
- endermen and endermites are friends now.
- going to the end is harder. you have to explore the overworld and nether well and collect all the eyes to go. it is worth the hardships after all!
- iron golems don't drop iron ingots on death. they are stronger, and blacksmith will heal them if damaged.
armory, weaponry and tooling:
- from wooden, to chainmail, to copper, to iron, to steel, to diamond, to netherite, to warden and finally, to enderite!
- various other armors were added too like tungsten armor and hammers
- netherite and enderite armors can be gilded to make piglins peaceful.
- the scale from tier to tier will be difficult but worth it!
- the quiver can contain several arrow types for bows and crossbows
- bows, crossbows and shields are better now with tiers and mechanics.
- will you be able to find the rarest enchantment ever? it has some kind of vision...
- enderite stuff can float in the void
- the sculk horns are some nice weapons...
- snowballs may blind you.
- some items can be stacked different than default like 32 eggs, 24 ender pearls, etc.
- all armors and tools durability have been reworked for balance.
world generation and structures:
- overhauled the overworld, the nether and the end with a variety of new biomes.
- almost all vanilla structures were reworked, and more were added!
- the nether roof is at y = 200 or something not sure really.
- can we light up the ancient city portal?
- villages have tasks for ya, and they are rewarding!
- some archeological additions were made, they are good.
- added ocean villages
those aren't the only features, the rest you should explore them yourself!
Known issue: can't blast damaged copper and steel gears into ingots (idk how to code that in zenScript)
mod suggestions for better PCs
- snow! real magic (mod - pretty winters with ability to grab snow by hand)
- falling leaves (mod - pretty forests)
- eating animation (mod)
- physicsMod (mod - makes the game lively)
- thin air (mod - for extra challenge)
- vanilla plus shader (shaderpack)
- tough beginnings (mod - increases early game difficulty)
- mahi's better sky (resource pack - vanilla friendly skies)
- sound physics remastered (mod - optional but gives reverb and depth to sounds)
- presence footsteps (mod - optional but changes every)
- volcanic caverns (mod - increases challenge underground, fills it with lava lakes)
- first-person model (mod - was removed because hands would disappear when holding the atlas. can be fixed manually by on/off vanilla hands in its config)
tips for lagging devices
- in video settings, reduce the simulation and render distance, and remove entity shadows.
- increase your RAM allocation in your minecraft launcher.
- disable animation mods: not enough animations, eating animations (if downloaded)
- disable boss bars resource pack
- disable better end sky mod and resource pack (if it's laggy in the end dimension only!)
- disable mahi's better sky resource pack (if you see it lag in the overworld)
- if it gets worse, remove the sound mods like ambient sounds (beautifier mods wont change gameplay)
- you can also configure animations and particles that are causing a lot of lag.
- if your pc gets hot, reduce max FPS.
- close all apps except minecraft to preserve RAM.
- reduce biome blend
