Pixelmon Prime-7.2
What's new
7.2 Introduces a brand new Main Menu, with harmonic tunes and relaxing vibes
🌟 Prime 7.0: Your Trainer Type Isn't Just for Combat Anymore
Update your modpack to 7.0 in your launcher
Your Trainer Type now grows from everything you do with your Pokémon: catching, wild battles, trainer battles, Gyms, raids and battles against other players. And it comes with you into turn-based battles, with a whole new way to play built around it.
Skill XP now comes in at half the old rate for you and your Pokémon. There are far more ways to earn it, and every level means more.
🧠 Trainer Tactics
Every Trainer Type has its own tricks for turn-based battles. Type /tactics to build yours.
- Your Signature. As your Pokémon fight, your type builds its own power: Steel builds Temper, Fire builds Heat, and every type plays its own way.
- Stances, Techniques and Creeds. Build around the style you want, not one you're handed. More slots open as your type levels, and three Loadouts let you swap builds.
- Your Secondary type uses your Aura Type. Wear an Aura and its type fights beside yours. Every Aura type keeps its own Secondary level, starting at 1. Reigning Arena Champs can pick ANY Secondary type while wearing the Champion's Aura.
- A Mentor will find you at level 10 to teach you in a duel, anywhere in the open world. Not ready yet? Call them back any time with
/mentor. - The Ring of Masters. All 18 Type Masters wait in the Great Hall of the Hall of Fame. Type
/masterto stand before yours. Beat them to unlock your Creed, and beat them at Full Strength to put your name beside them. - New titles to earn along the way.
⚔️ The Combat Remodel
Every Combat Type was rebalanced so each role has a clear job.
- Damage: Fire, Ghost and Dark hit harder. Burn now sticks to bosses.
- Combo: Dragon and Flying bursts pulled back. Fighting finishers build off your combo.
- Control: Whirlpool soaks foes so lightning, frost and water hit harder. Bramble Snare roots and heals allies. Swarm Nest speeds up allies. Ice shatters land.
- Tank: Rock, Ground and Steel taunts hold a Sovereign on you, and taunted foes take extra damage from everyone.
- Support: Normal, Fairy and Psychic heals also boost allies' damage or cooldowns.
- Fixes: damage-over-time no longer eats your next hit, delayed hits get your sigil and Overdrive bonuses, on-death effects fire, and tooltips match what every ability does.
👑 The Sovereigns
All eighteen throne sovereigns have been rebuilt.
- Much less health, and less extra health for each player who joins.
- Your armor, Protection and damage reduction now soften every blow. No single hit takes more than about a third of your health.
- Every role matters. While your taunt holds, the sovereign aims at you. Roots, freezes and other control break a sovereign that's healing or channeling.
- Every sovereign fights with its own signature attacks, redrawn from scratch.
🎓 The Tutorial
- Lots of new lessons and improvements. Come back with
/tutorialto see them. - Jump to any lesson from the Tutorial Guide, or start over with
/tutorial reset. - For new players, the invite stays on screen until you start it. Not interested? Tell it never.
- No more book popping open when you join.
🛠️ Also New
- Scroll the battle log with your mouse wheel to read back through a battle.
- Combat Mode now properly seals Pokémon battles. Stand down before you battle.
- Anomalies finally truly clean up after themselves when you leave, so the server runs lighter.
- Defeated World Bosses shrink away before they vanish.
🌾 Pastures
- Draw your field indoors. When your Pasture is under a roof, the roof lifts away while you draw so you can trace the floor. Space and Shift raise or lower the cut.
- Your cursor stays lined up with the line you're drawing, and zooming centers on your cursor, so you can zoom mid-stroke without your line jumping.
See you out there.
