ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village - Adds interesting detail to villages.

Beekeeper Hut - Beekeeping villager profession.

Guard Villagers - Villagers that will actually help defend the village instead of just getting slaughtered. 

Liberty's Villagers - Enhances villages and villager AI.

VillagersPlus - Adds many unique villager professions.

Food

Farmer's Delight - More foods and recipes.

Nether's Delight - Nether-themed addon for Farmer's Delights.

Cooking for Blockheads - This would end all kitchen sink modpacks. A mod that adds a kitchen sink itself to Minecraft! Oh, and other kitchen paraphernalia too…

Performance

Farsight - Mod which operates on the client-side of things to remember what distant chunks look like in order to bypass the server's render distance limit. See farther, without burdening the server.

FastWorkbench - Performance fix.

FastFurnace - Performance fix.

Miscellaneous Additions

Friends&Foes - Adds in *all* of the mobs that Microsoft murdered in the past (Mooblooms).

Friends&Foes - Flowery Mooblooms - A moobloom for every mood.

Eccentric Tome - Allows you to combine all the guidebooks from various mods into one easy-to-use tool.

Torchmaster - Special torch block that prevents mobs from spawning within a configurable radius.

Storage Drawers - Intricate storage solution.

MmmMmmMmmMmm (Target Dummy) - Adds a craftable entity to show damage dealt.

Creeper Overhaul - By the creator of Endermen Overhaul, but for creepers.

Camera Mod - Take and display some pictures!

Trash Cans - Method to delete unwanted items without having to burn or cactus them.

Automatic Tool Swap - Swaps the tool to the most appropriate for the block you are looking at.

Explorer’s Compass - A special compass that can locate structures.

Cycle Paintings - Right-click a placed painting with another painting and it will cycle through all the paintings of that same size. Shift+Right-Click to go back if you skipped it accidentally.
