DRACOPHOBIA
Colonizer Edition
Created as the ultimate Dracophobia simulator, wherein you can be terrorized by Giant plasma breathing lizards whilst desperately trying to build up a little colony far enough away not to be destroyed. Don't forget to drink water too!
This is my first attempt to create a general medieval styled fantasy modpack that allows you to feel less alone (via the colony system) if you can't wrangle together a server for friends. But also functions well as a server if you have the time to do so.
It functions fine on 6gb, however if you have the space, you could raise it to 8gb, especially reccomended if using a server with friends. Distant Horizons (allowing you to see further terrain) as well as the shaders and resource packs can be toggled to increase performance.
Highlights of the Pack
- Minecolonies: The essential colony builder mod, allowing you to build up an entire village of characters and families, ultimately to become an automated little town.
- Create: Tech mod, Tech mod! From automated mixers, to trains, to deranged farming set ups. You can mess with this, or ignore it entirely.
- Ars Nouveau: Magic mod that add in a few new mobs, and a plethora of spells to aid with convenience and combat.
- Ice and Fire: DRAGONS, DRAGONS, AND MORE DRAGONS. Oh, and a variety of other magical creatures like griffons, sirens, cyclops, and more. Enjoy a Dragonseeker add on allowing you to craft a tool to track down these giant lizards once brave enough to go after them.
- Tough as Nails: "Tough As Nails is a survival mod that adds various features to increase the game's difficulty, including body temperature and thirst."
- DIMENSIONS! - Aether, Twilight Forest, Blueskies: A clump of classic Dimensional mods that add on to the minecraft basics of the End and the nether, allowing you to be transported to new, alien places with new bosses to fight and new items to acquire.
- Origins and DC Classes: On entering a new world, you will be greeted with a screen asking you to choose a class, as well as your orgin, much likea race and class choice in dungeons and dragons. Both will provide certain benefits and detriments, described in the popup. Some of the health detriments can thankfully be compensated for as you play, thanks to a health leveling mod included!
- NOTE: Some origins detriments regarding Diet have been edited in the config files to allow players to consume any food freely. Whats the use in farmers delight if you can't enjoy every delicacy?
- Oh the Biomes we've Gone: This biome addition modpack boasts 50+ new biomes in overworld, Nether, and End dimensions. It also provides some new useful items, aside from the new colourful tree types and mushrooms. (My favourite is the Orchard! Unlimited Apples!)
- Rechiseled and Chipped: While if not a builder, you can technically ignore this, Rechiseled and chipped, and it's added compatabilities, allows you a broad new swath of new blocks to decorate your builds with.
- Lootr: Designed for multiplayer, this allows world generated chest's loot to be individualised, meaning no more "oh, this place has already been looted" as long as you dont break the chest.
- Sophisticated Storage and Backpacks: A new, colourful, and convenient way of creating storage so you wont have to meddle with massive chest monsters. (Or do, no one can stop you.)
