Each stone takes every vanilla ore that really forms inside it, and every modded ore below that does. A block only exists when the mod that places its stone is installed, and for a modded ore, that ore's mod as well, so Matrix never adds a block you cannot find.
Seamless Ores and Seamless Glowing Ores
Seamless Ores does the same for granite, diorite, andesite, tuff, basalt and blackstone. Matrix covers the stones from other mods. Install either or both; nothing is covered twice, and the ore art is the same hand drawn set.
Seamless Glowing Ores makes every ore glow, with an optional connected outline, and covers all 714 Matrix blocks.

Mythic Upgrades places each of its gems in the schist of the same colour on purpose. Those keep the look their author gave them; only the ores that end up in a schist by accident get a variant.
What you get on your version
One file per loader covers Minecraft 26.1 through 26.3. Which stone and ore mods have a build differs by version and loader, so the count does too.
| Version |
Fabric |
NeoForge |
| 26.3 |
134 |
45 |
| 26.2 |
424 |

| 26.1.x |

Each count is every block whose mods all have a build for that version and loader.
Works like the ore it replaces
- Mining speed, tool tier, experience, Fortune and Silk Touch all match the original ore.
- Drops come from the ore's own mod, so a modded ore still drops exactly what its author intended. Silk Touch gives you the Matrix block wherever it gives you the original ore.
- Tagged as ores (
c:ores), so ore processing, ore finders and ore doubling pick them up.
- The stone is drawn by the mod that adds it, so a resource pack that restyles limestone restyles limestone ore too. Stones with random rotations keep them on their ores.
Config
One switch per stone, grouped by the mod that adds it (Cloth Config; Mod Menu adds the button on Fabric). A switch only affects newly generated chunks, and the blocks always stay registered, so a server and its players never disagree.
Credits
The vanilla ore overlays are derived from Minecraft's own textures and remain Mojang's property. Each supported ore mod's overlay is derived from that mod's own ore texture and is used under its licence: Create (MIT), Energized Power by JDDev0 (MIT), Mystical Agriculture by BlakeBr0 (MIT), Mythic Metals by Noaaan (MIT), Mythic Upgrades by TriQue (MIT), Occultism by Kli Kli (MIT), Powah by owmii, Technici4n and shartte (LGPL-3.0), Silent Gear and Silent's Gems by SilentChaos512 (MIT), and Tech Reborn by Team Reborn, modmuss50 and drcrazy (MIT).
No stone mod's texture ships in Matrix. Each stone is drawn by the mod that adds it.
