Description

Specialized weapons with distinct combat roles, active mechanics, and meaningful tradeoffs.
Nanonaitor's Arsenal reimagines weapon forms from history and legend as mechanically unique Minecraft equipment. It brings old ideas into Minecraft with new combat identities.
⚔️ Weapons
| Weapon | Historical Inspiration | Specialty |
|---|---|---|
| Morning Star | Inspired by the spiked maces of late-medieval Europe, designed to concentrate heavy blows against protected opponents. | Fully charged hits build Armor Fracture, reducing armor by 20% per level. Higher material tiers support more Fracture levels. |
| Scimitar | Draws from curved, single-edged sabres associated with Iran, the Ottoman world, and neighboring regions. | A fast blade whose fully charged hits have a 10% chance to inflict Weakness II for 2 seconds. |
| Paired Claws | Inspired by the bagh nakh, or “tiger claw,” a concealed hand weapon from the Indian subcontinent. | Left and right click control separate claws. Fully charged alternating strikes can pierce invulnerability frames. Both claws share durability and enchantments. |
| Flail | Inspired by European chain-flail imagery derived from agricultural threshing tools. | Hold attack to strike every visible non-allied enemy within 4 blocks. |
| Battering Ram | Based on ancient siege engines used to breach gates and walls, especially the sophisticated rams depicted in Neo-Assyrian warfare. | Hold attack to begin a two-handed running charge. The pointed end crushes a tier-dependent 3×3 path. Charging consumes hunger and requires an empty offhand. |
| Ball & Chain | A fantasy synthesis of historical flexible weapons, including weighted-chain traditions such as Japan's kusari-fundo. | Build up to 3 charges, then release a collision-limited attack that hits while traveling outward and returning. Each charge adds 4 blocks of reach. |
| Sun-War Bulwark | Inspired by the hero El Pípila during the 1810 assault on the Alhóndiga de Granaditas in Guanajuato, Mexico. Remembered for carrying a stone slab on his back as protection while reaching and burning the fortified building's gate. | A massive two-handed shield that guards directed attacks from every side. Its strike scales with total armor, while attacking during guard performs a 4-block area bash. |
