New village professions for Villagers at Work. Each has a job site you build and a place in the village's supply chain: the villagers already at work bring it what it needs, and it gives the village something new.
It needs my other Villagers at Work mod, and goes on the server and the client.
The Chef
The first profession. It cooks Farmer's Delight's meals you place on a table, feasts such as roast chicken and shepherd's pie, pies and cakes, from what the village brings to its kitchen. The Chef needs Farmer's Delight: without it, More Villagers at Work runs with no Chef.
- Its kitchen is a Farmer's Delight cabinet with a shelf touching it: the cabinet is its job site and its pantry, the shelf holds its tools, and the stoves touching the cabinet are where it cooks. A cabinet you keep things in, with no shelf touching it, never makes a chef.
- The village supplies it. The farmer brings crops and bakes bread for it, the butcher brings meat and the eggs laid in its area, and the fisherman brings fish, bowls and water bottles, up to a stack of each. The toolsmith makes its bucket, and it milks the cows itself.
- It picks a meal at random among those its pantry can make, so more kinds of food give more kinds of meals, and it makes what a meal needs first: baked potatoes for a shepherd's pie, a crust for a cheesecake. Give it a cooking pot for meals made in the pot.
- It wears a chef's hat the shepherd makes from white wool.
- It sells every meal its kitchen could make, at one emerald per ingredient the village brings.
With Villagers after Work, the village dines at tables: the Chef cooks a meal for every place at the tables, sets them when work ends, and clears away the empty trays. Hungry villagers sit down and eat a bite or a serving at a time. Without it, the Chef keeps one meal ready for you.
The Beekeeper
It keeps the village's bees, and needs no other mod.
- Its station is a beehive with a shelf touching it. A hive you keep bees in, with no shelf touching it, never makes a beekeeper, and neither does a bee nest.
- It takes the honey from its own hive and the hives and bee nests around it: honey bottles when it has bottles, honeycomb with its shears otherwise. The bees are never angered.
- It grows flowers with bone meal while its hives are short of them, and breeds bees until each hive has three, picking a flower only while the bees have enough left.
- The village supplies it. The toolsmith makes its shears, the farmer brings bone meal, and the Chef sends back the empty bottles its honey came in.
- It wears a beekeeper's hat with a veil, which the shepherd makes from white wool.
- It sells honeycomb, honey bottles, candles, honey and honeycomb blocks and beehives, and at master a beehive with bees in it.
