Resource packs that let the Villagers at Work client jar animate Human Era villagers properly: they swing the tool they work with and hold out the item they trade.
What it fixes
- The villager properly holds and swings the tool it is working with. Human Era gives villagers arms of its own and animates them itself, so nothing the mod does can move them. This pack adds the swing to Human Era's own arms, in the hand the villager actually uses — a left-handed villager swings its left.
- The villager holds out the item it is trading, instead of leaving it floating in front of its chest. Vanilla draws that item from the crossed arms that Human Era empties, and nothing says where it should go instead. That happens with Human Era alone; it is not caused by the mod.
Which file to use
| You have | Download |
|---|---|
| Human Era | vaw-human-era.zip, the main file |
| Human Era and its FreshAni Activator add-on | vaw-human-era-fa.zip, the additional file under it |
What else you need
- Human Era
- Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features, which Human Era needs anyway
- Villagers at Work and its client jar, which is what puts the tool in the villager's hand in the first place
Installing
Drop the zip in resourcepacks/ and put it above Human Era in the resource pack list: it replaces model files, so it only works from higher up.
Keeping up with Human Era
Built from Human Era 3.91.6. It carries copies of that version's villager models, so a newer Human Era sits below this pack in the list and would be overridden. When you update Human Era, come back for a pack rebuilt against it.
Licence and credit
The villager models are Human Era's, by CmdrMCNuggets, used and modified here under CC BY-SA 4.0. Each pack carries that licence and a README inside it. All this pack changes in those files is a swing term on each arm, and the attachment point that tells Entity Model Features where the trade item goes. Source and generator.
