Disclaimer: Mob Summoning as reached End of Life. Admittedly, this project was a way for me to learn about entities and how to properly make them. Whilst Mob Summoning was an interesting idea (and one that I would love to explore more), I simply do not have the time to work on it. As such, this project and its code have been released under the MIT License. I hope that someone can give this project the love it deserves.

The basic principle is that you can summon mobs to fight alongside you. To summon a passive mob costs 5 XP levels, to summon a neutral mob costs 7 XP levels, to summon a hostile mob costs 10 XP levels. This is done by using a Summoner's Staff in your main hand and either a mob's item drop or an analogous item in your offhand.
