Description
Now with existance of both MC Dungeons Weapons and MC Dungeons Armor mods for Fabric, the only part of the gear expirience of Minecraft Dungeons that's missing is it's unique enchanting system. Well, MC Dungeons Enchanting brings this system into Minecraft Java!
The Enchanting table has been removed from the survival gameplay and replaced with it's new version - Runic Table.
MC Dungeons Enchanting has integrated support for:
With version 1.2.0+ you can add enchantments from other mods yourself through configs and resourcepacks! (See the Github page for more information about this)
MC Dungeons Enchanting adds three new blocks:
- Runic Table - the main block, acts as a new enchanting table. Randomly generates a list of enchantments that one Item can take. There are plans to add a Golding Foundry for gilding the weapons/tools/armor.
- Roll Bench - an additional block which rerolls a single enchantment per use, costs lapis lazuli. The cost is respective of the level you'd spend to activate this enchantment.
- Gilding Foundry - a special block station which will use gold ingots to apply a random permanent enchantment of 1st level to an item (This enchantment will not count towards rerolling or enchanting).

All three blocks have a crafting recipe that show up in both REI and a Recipe Book.

Q: Why does MCDE not work with Optifine?
- A: Optifine's code is closed source and extremely invasive. This is not a bad thing, in and of itself; but it makes it almost impossible to troubleshoot anything whilst still respecting the licencing that sp614x uses. So, out of respect for them so as to not have to explore their code without permission, we simply do not support it. Please consider the following alternatives:
-
Q: Can I use your mod in my modpack?
- A: Absolutely! I only ask that you provide a link back to this page.
-
Q: I've seen your mod on other sites. Did you post it and are they safe?
- A: I have not, nor do I plan to, post my mod on any other sites than Curseforge, Modrinth or my GitHub page. If you have downloaded my mod from somewhere else:
- It isn't from me
- It may have some kind of malicious files or have been modified in some way. I urge you to delete the file, run a full virus and malware scan and, if you want to use MC Dungeons Enchanting, come and download it on CurseForge, Modrinth or from GitHub.

Q: Will the mod be ported to 1.x.x?
- A: The mod will be continued to (almost)all versions starting from 1.19.2.
-
Q: Forge?
- A: Forge is not a modloader I'm looking forward to working with. Maybe when NeoForge fully comes out and ramps up in popularity. Still, it is just a maybe.
-
Q: 1.12.2?
- A: Given the massive strides that have been made with Minecraft's code since 1.12 and the subsequent changes to the underlying code, a 1.12.x port is simply untenible. Please see this link for more information.
