Unlock New Crafting Recipes With Materia

Materia is the fundamental essence that makes up everything in your Minecraft world. Use processes inspired by real world alchemical texts to break down items into their base components, then combine them to fabricate nearly any resource in the game.

Be an Early Game Alchemist

MagiChem is useful from the start of your Minecraft adventures to the furthest stretches of the endgame. Unlock convenience recipes to make your first nights easier, like repairing anvils or transforming dirt into grass or mycelium.

As you progress through Mana and Artifice, you’ll unlock more powerful techniques and items worthy of a master alchemist.

Build Magical Machines and Eldritch Factories

a small lab contains an alembic, a more advanced alembic made of electrum and tan stone, and a third device slightly offscreen with a large cogwheel. A stone construct stands ready to sort materia from the devices into nearby vessels.

From your humble Alembic, you can eventually upgrade to complex arcane devices that match perfectly with the Mana and Artifice aesthetic. MagiChem expands Mana and Artifice’s construct system with new tasks, letting you automate complex factories without relying on external mods. No pipes or wires necessary.

You can also upgrade your machines with powerful elemental plug-ins, making them even more efficient.

Take Your Redstone to the Third Dimension

Transmute your redstone dust into Signalite, inspired by the Redcrystal of Automagy. Stack it in three dimensions and precisely control directional outputs to build compact machines. Splash it with an Admixture of Lies to turn it completely invisible, letting you hide redstone wiring in plain sight. Eventually, you can craft wonders like random number generation and wireless redstone signals that reach anywhere in the same dimension!

New Options for Mana and Artifice
