New Features

  • Added the Mirror Labyrinth, a Tier 4 device that acts as a mass storage system for materia. Requires both FE and a construct to keep track of where your materia is in the strange land on the other side of a magical mirror. Stores between 1800/3600 and 25000/50000 of every type of materia, depending on how much FE it's getting.
  • Added the Labyrinthine Navigator, the Ender-elemental eldrin actuator. Can directly and automatically import and export materia from the Mirror Labyrinth at speeds orders of magnitude faster than constructs.
  • Added Magic Mirrors remote access points to your Mirror Labyrinth. You can't access the system directly, but constructs and Labyrinthine Navigators can. Nearby Materia Manifests can also read the Labyrinth's contents through a Magic Mirror in range.
  • Added the Materia Reflector, which outputs a redstone signal based on how full the Mirror Labyrinth's storage is. Each Reflector can output up to six signals (one in each direction), one for each of six defined materia types.
  • Distillery, Centrifuge, Fusery, and their Grand variants now have comparator output.
  • Added Equating Signalite, which outputs a full-strength signal if its input matches a specific value.
  • Added Meticulous Signalite, which converts the input signal into a binary number and outputs a full-strength signal if a particular bit is present. If that doesn't make sense to you already, don't worry about it.
  • Added Occulted Sparks, a split version of an Occulted Cinder with half the light level.
  • Added Construct Condition Has Eldrin Power in Buffer, used to check your Eldrin Power levels. This is a temporary addition; shortly after I added it Mithion announced a similar condition (with more functionality) will be added to MnA. Once it is, this condition will be removed.
  • Added Construct Condition Device Recipe Matches, used with MagiChem devices with recipe selectors.
  • Alchemically-Treated Glass and its Stonecutter variants now have connected textures if you have ConnectedTexturesMod installed.

Tweaks & Balance Changes

  • When connected to a device that doesn't consume XP, the Occult Matrix now generates Slurry based on how many units of materia were processed. This might be wildly imbalanced, I'm gathering feedback on how the values feel.
  • The Centrifuge and Grand Centrifuge now have a recipe selector. This should make it easier to order constructs to Provide Materia or to interact with the new Labyrinthine Navigator.
  • Devices with a recipe selector now have a button next to it to clear the current recipe. If items are present, the order will queue itself up to clear after the current process is complete.
  • Codex entry for the Ritual of the Balanced Scales now mentions that you can't use Jar Quads.
  • Codex now mentions that processing recipes with more materia involved results in more Grime.
  • Codex now gives the footprint of devices larger than 1x1x1 (with a second entry for how big VFX are, if applicable)
  • Codex entries for the Nexus and Fusery now mention how to get Slurry into the device.
  • Codex now explicitly documents how any MagiChem block with comparator output works.
  • Increased Anointing success rate for repairing anvils to make it feel better at tier 1.
  • Reduced the amount of Alchemical Waste required to make Alchemically-Treated Glass from 2 to 1.
  • All recipes related to the Construct bottle-making pipeline have been reduced to Tier 1.
  • Alembic now produces more Alchemical Waste per point of Grime than other devices. This multiplier is configurable.
  • The Harmoniscope can now break anything in the forge glass tags.
  • Added Construct Crushing recipes to split Prismatic Conduits back into their component Conduits.
  • Tweaked the internal definition of "within 8 blocks" that the Circle of Fabrication uses so that it makes more sense to the casual user.
  • Reduced the number of bonks necessary to straighten a Warped Pennon from 4 to 2.
  • Water affinity now increases the reach distance of basic materia-sorting and materia-providing constructs. It has no effect on advanced sorters and providers.
  • MagiChem device recipes that used to use Glass now use Alchemically-Treated Glass.
  • Breaking an Occult Matrix with Slurry inside will now drop an experience orb containing most of the contained experience.
  • Improved redstone pausing logic for all Grand devices.
  • Actuators now consume 80% less Eldrin power in anticipation of an upcoming MnA update that rebalances a lot of the Eldrin numbers. Essentia and Droplets also generate much less power per unit for the same reason.
  • Actuators now have a new element in their GUI to disable drawing Eldrin power.
  • The tracking tether on a Materia Manifest can be cleared by sneak-right clicking.

Bug Fixes

  • Codex entries now use page breaks and should therefore render better for people using alternate fonts.
  • Added several missing alchemical formulations and made adjustments to some existing alchemical formulations.
  • You can now do incidental scans with the Materia Manifest without needing to open the GUI once.
  • Traveller's Compass now only applies the Sixfold Path effect once every 3 seconds instead of once per tick; this should bring the Earth effect down to intended values.
  • Signalites now read getSignal() outputs instead of trying to figure it out from blockstates.
  • Bottles can now be shift-clicked into the Centrifuge.
  • Coloring Cauldron will now check whether it's above a heat source when initially placed.
  • Actuators can now be paused from the top part of the block.
  • Increased batch size now limits itself to the stack size limit of the item being processed.
  • The Alchemical Nexus can now draw from Jar Quads.
  • You can no longer infinitely insert Academic Slurry into an Alchemical Nexus using a slurry bucket.
  • Fixed backface rendering of very small magic circles.
  • Siphoning mode checkbox on the Alchemical Nexus GUI now properly dims when the panel goes inactive.
  • Signalite Seers now display correct signal output coloration when monitoring base MnA blocks.
  • Admixtures of Permanence and Lies are now consumed as intended when modifying Signalites.
  • Circles of Power filled with debug orbs no longer drop extras when broken.
  • The Alchemical Nexus will now use output slots 5-9 instead of only slots 1-4.
  • Fluid-based actuators are no longer infinite sources of fluid for extraction systems like constructs and pipes.
  • Router blocks should no longer get replaced by flowing water.
  • The Conjurer now accepts materia provision.
  • Fixed third-person transforms for Standing Retorts.
  • Jars and Vessels can now be used to fill Jar Quads.
