What's new

1.0.0-mc1.21.1

New: in-game marker move mode

Reposition markers directly in JEI's or EMI's recipe screen instead of editing the configuration by hand:

  • Bind a key to "Toggle Marker Move Mode" in Controls → Just Enough Markers (JEM) (unbound by default). It works even while a recipe screen is open.
  • Hold left-click on a marker and drag it; release to save the new position.
  • Right-click a marker to reset it to the default position.
  • Markers change color while active: grayscale at the default position, green when customized, red while being dragged.

New: EMI support

  • Markers now also show in EMI's recipe screen, using the same configuration as JEI. EMI is optional; JEI is still required.
  • Configuration changes and move mode update live in EMI, with no /reload needed, matching JEI.
  • EMI's own "Show Recipe Decorators" setting is enabled automatically on startup (it defaults to off for every player).

New: simplified tooltip option

hideTooltipDetails — when true, the tooltip only shows "JEM" instead of the full text. Also applied automatically while move mode is active.

Configuration changes

  • recipeIdFilter now accepts a list of texts, e.g. ["kubejs", "kjs"], so several namespaces can be matched at once. A single text (the old format) still works, so existing configs keep working.
  • New defaults for fresh installs: recipeIdFilter = ["kubejs", "kjs"], defaultOffsetX/defaultOffsetY = 0, categories = []. Existing configs are unaffected.

Fixed

  • Removed an error line logged at every startup, caused by an accessTransformers entry pointing to a file that doesn't exist.

Compatibility

  • Still not compatible with Roughly Enough Items (REI).
