Ghostworks Minecraft 26.2 v3.0.0 - The Living Archives

Ghostworks v3.0.0 expands the world beyond the Ruined Castle. Follow the old roads southwest to a library built into an impossible tree, meet the Cursed King who still keeps its covenant, and learn how defeated guardians can be called back through dangerous revival rites.

Highlights

• The Tree Library and Cursed King: a separate castle at -2000, -2000, built through a colossal tree. Its guardian has three escalating phases, environmental attacks, living roots, owls, wind, and archive-shaking spectacle.
• Boss Revival Rites: craft Cursed Blocks, build a 9x9 corner ritual around an offering chest, and use Revival Ether, Pixie Dust, a Nether Star, and boss-themed materials to return a defeated castle guardian. Each victory creates one shared reward chest.
• New companions and wildlife: Lantern Wisps, Moonwing Moths, River Nixies, Fae Foxes, Fireflies, Dragonflies, and two kinds of Mushling make forests, lakes, and night travel feel more magical.
• Forsaken Miner and Skeleton Miners: find a stranded Pixie Dust trader in abandoned mineshafts—or face the pale miners who never found the way out.
• Stillveil Aegis: earn a legendary stealth shield by remaining voluntarily still for 24 logged-in hours.
• A fuller world of stories: elders remember the Cursed King, new lore leaves deepen the history, and the Guide reveals rituals only after their castles are discovered.
• Luma naps: Luma now gently falls asleep while continuing to float beside her owner, using dedicated sleeping, waking, and companion sounds.

Important Notes

• Castle boss rituals require the original boss to have been defeated first.
• Rituals are restricted to the matching castle's horizontal region and leave one shared reward chest.
• Existing worlds are supported. The update keeps prior guide, Luma, and encounter data.
