Ghostworks is a dark machinery and creature progression mod built around cursed automation, strange mobs, and powerful gear. Build machines like the Mob Killing Machine, Drop Collector, Bottler o' Factory, Cursed Quarry, Cursed Forge, Cursed Diamond Press, Evaporator, and Cursed Incinerator multiblock. Automate mob farming, collect drops, bottle XP, process cursed materials, and craft stronger tools as you progress.

The mod also adds custom mobs, cursed spider variants, rare drops, cursed and holy armor/tools, special bows and arrows, magical effects, and a guide item to help players move through the Ghostworks progression path.

Core Progression Path:

Ghostworks starts with automation, moves through cursed material processing, upgrades that curse into holy gear, then turns player kills and void materials into late-game weapons.

Build the Mob Killing Machine. Supply a sword, fuel, and optional Speed Cards to kill nearby mobs and bank XP.

Add Bottler o' Factory and Drop Collector. Bottle the stored XP into Bottle o' Enchanting and collect nearby drops with shovel charges.

Form the Cursed Incinerator. Burn vanilla fuels with lava heat to generate Cursed Carbon.

Press Cursed Diamonds. The Cursed Diamond Press consumes 16 Cursed Carbon, TNT, and Flint when pulsed by redstone.

Evaporate or forge. Use the Cursed Evaporator to turn Cursed Diamond plus water into vanilla Diamond, or push deeper into cursed gear.

Craft Cursed gear. Cursed tools are strong but poison the holder, making them a risk-reward bridge into holy upgrades.

Upgrade to Holy gear. Use Golden Cloth and the Holy Smithing Template path to cleanse cursed equipment into holy weapons, tools, and armor.

Empower the pedestal. Feed kills near the Cursed Pedestal. Cursed Sword upgrades, Holy Sword awakens into Sandai Kitetsu after 1000 kills.

Do not abandon the awakened sword. If Sandai Kitetsu remains on the pedestal while more kills feed it, the sword is consumed and The Demon Slayer Boss spawns.

Reforge greed. Defeat the boss, recover the Broken Demon Slayer Sword, surround it with Void Orbs, and craft The Blade of Greed.

The automation layer generates XP, drops, cursed fuel, diamonds, quarry output, and sword awakening progress.

Mob Killing Machine

Starter automation

Uses a sword, fuel, and Speed Cards to attack mobs nearby. Stored XP can be routed into the bottler.

Bottler o' Factory

XP output

Turns mob-killer XP and glass bottles into Bottle o' Enchanting for portable XP storage.

Drop Collector

Loot support

Collects drops in a 7x7x7 area when placed by the mob killer. It uses shovel charges and matching fuel.

Cursed Incinerator

Multiblock

Casing and ports combine burnable items with lava heat to create Cursed Carbon.

Cursed Diamond Press

Redstone pulse

Presses 16 Cursed Carbon, TNT, and Flint into one Cursed Diamond after receiving a redstone pulse.

Cursed Evaporator

Conversion

Uses water and Cursed Diamond to produce vanilla Diamond, letting cursed production feed normal crafting.

Cursed Forge

Special crafting

Handles the deeper Ghostworks crafting path for cursed and holy progression.

Cursed Quarry

Mining

Digs a 3x3 shaft toward bedrock using a cursed pickaxe, rotten flesh, Cursed Carbon, and Speed Cards.

Cursed Pedestal

Awakening

Stores sword progress from nearby kills. It upgrades Cursed Sword damage and can awaken Holy Sword into Sandai Kitetsu.
