This mod adds rare plants that grow only in specific places. Each kind has its own biomes and its own spot: the sea bed, a cliff face, a tree trunk, desert sand, the edge of swamp water, snow, a lava shore, the Nether, the End, the Aether. Some kinds open only at night, in rain, at a full or new moon, or in a season. A journal, the Wanderer's Herbarium, says where and when each plant grows, and lists the biomes. A picked plant leaves a stem that grows back in time. Plants cannot be moved, planted, or farmed.
The mod adds no recipes and no uses for the picked plants. It is a base for other mods, which can add crafting or uses for them.
AI usage disclaimer: This mod was developed with AI-agent assistance using this agent workflow. The project owner reviewed the work during development.
- Plants are placed when a chunk first generates, one plant at a time and far apart.
- Hit a plant once to pick it. It drops one of itself and leaves a stem. The stem grows back into the plant after a while, by default three hours of real time, faster or slower by kind.
- Break the stem and that spot is gone for good.
- Some plants glow. Some are closed by day, in clear weather, or out of their season, and open again when their time comes.
- Craft the journal from a book and a dandelion. Every plant has three pages: the plant, when it is open and how long it takes to grow back, and where it grows.

Other mods
- Patchouli is required for the journal. Version 1.0-28 or newer.
- Serene Seasons is optional. With it, four plants open only in their season. Without it, they are always open.
- The Aether, Better End Forge, Stygian End, Environs, BetterNether, Nether Backport, and Biomes O' Plenty are optional. Nine plants grow only in biomes those mods add. Without them, those plants exist but never grow, and their journal pages say so.
