Heartbound: Lifesteal
Kill a player and take one of their hearts. Lose your last heart and you're out until a friend brings you back with a Revive Orb.
Heartbound adds Lifesteal rules to any Minecraft Java 1.21.4 world, ready for a Lifesteal SMP.
A free datapack. No mods and no plugins, so it works in single-player, on Realms and on vanilla, Paper, Purpur and Fabric servers.
Features
- Steal hearts: every player kill moves one heart from the victim to the killer, by sword, bow or knocking them into lava
- Out at 0 hearts: a player who loses their last heart becomes a spectator, and everyone is told
- Revive Orb: craft one, hold right-click and click a name in chat to bring that player back next to you
- Withdraw hearts:
/trigger hb.withdraw turns a heart into an item to trade or save; only you can pick up a heart you dropped
- Craftable Heart and Revive Orb with their own name and glow
- Max hearts: at the cap, a stolen heart drops as an item instead
- Hearts in the player list (Tab)
- Clickable settings for operators: starting hearts, max hearts, hearts after a revive, PvP-only or any death, elimination on or off. No file editing.
- One-command uninstall that puts online players back to 10 hearts
