Advanced Netherite - Bedrock Edition

Advanced Netherite is a vanilla-friendly, open-source mod originally created for Java Edition. This project is an unofficial Bedrock Edition port that brings the same extended Netherite progression to Minecraft Bedrock.

📜 Permissions, Credits & History

This port is an authorized unofficial version. The original creator of the Java version, Autovw, has granted permission to create this adaptation for Bedrock Edition.

Development History:

• The Bedrock port was originally started and developed by Memorie Studio (up to version 1.4.2).
• The project has now been completely reworked and is currently developed by Lilium Studio.

🛠️ Port Specifications (Bedrock)

This port has been optimized to offer the best possible compatibility:

• No Experiments: No experimental toggles required to play!
• Compatible Version: Works on version 1.26.40 and up.
• Maximum Compatibility: This mod DOES NOT use player.json, allowing you to use it with other addons that modify the player without conflicts.
• Modified Entities: Uses phantom.json, piglin.json, and endermen.json to maintain original mechanics (like Piglins not attacking you while wearing Netherite-Gold armor).

🔨 Smithing Table

Every upgrade uses the vanilla Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template. Place the previous tier's item in the base slot and the custom ingot of the tier you are crafting in the addition slot:

• Template: Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template
• Base: the item from the previous tier
• Addition: the custom Netherite ingot (Iron, Gold, Emerald, or Diamond)

The custom ingots are only accepted in the addition slot, so they cannot be mistaken for a smithing template.

Advanced Netherite is fully compatible with Durability Armor Viewer by Dimzcraft.

Actions & Stuff Compatibility (V1.2.0)

Advanced Netherite ships 3D held models for its tools and weapons that match Actions & Stuff by Oreville Studios. Because those models are built around the custom hold position that Actions & Stuff applies, they are shipped as an optional subpack instead of being always on.

To choose which look you want, open the resource pack settings, select Advanced Netherite, and press the gear icon:

• Vanilla (default) — tools and weapons use the standard flat item sprite. Pick this if you do not use Actions & Stuff.
• Actions & Stuff Compatibility — enables the 3D held models. Pick this if Actions & Stuff is active in your world.

⚠️ Bedrock Limitations

Due to technical differences between Java and Bedrock engines, the following changes have been made:

• Knockback Resistance: Items do not feature custom knockback resistance due to current API limitations.
• Blocks: Custom blocks currently do not function as Beacon bases.
• Translations: Item lore (descriptions) is not translated due to how Bedrock handles script components.
