πΊ Brewery πΊ A real production chain for Hytale: from field to bottle

What is Brewery? Brewery turns grain and fruit into beer, wine and spirits the way a real brewery and distillery do it β step by step, machine by machine. Nothing is a single click: you malt, kiln, mill, boil, ferment, distil, age and bottle, and every decision on the way shows up in the quality of the drink. 12 machines, 21 drinks, a quality system with stars, barrels that make everything better with time, a trader who pays for your bottles, and a guide board that hangs the whole chain on your wall.
Everything is included in one plugin. All machines are normal item containers, so pipes and hoppers (for example from Bluestone) can feed and empty them β the whole brewery can run on its own.
The chain
Beer Wheat β Steeping Vat β Green Malt β Malt Kiln (pale / amber / dark) β Malt β Brewer's Mill β Grist β Brew Kettle (+ hops) β Hopped Wort β Fermenter (+ yeast) β Jug of Ale β Barrel (optional) β Bottling Table β Pale Ale, Amber Ale or Dark Ale.
Whisky, rice spirit, vodka Malt, corn, rice or potatoes β Brewer's Mill β Grist β Brew Kettle (no hops) β Wort β Fermenter β Wash β Copper Still, 1st run β Raw Spirit β Copper Still, 2nd run (cut the heart) β Jug of Spirit β Barrel (optional) β Bottling Table β Malt Whisky, Corn Whiskey, Rice Spirit or Potato Vodka.
Wine and fruit brandy Fruit β Brewer's Mill β Fruit Mash β Fermenter β Jug of Wine β Barrel (optional) β Bottling Table β cider or fruit wine. Or distil the wine twice into fruit brandy: apple brandy, berry schnapps, pinkberry schnapps, coconut rum, windwillow spirit, azure spirit, mango brandy.
Every intermediate product is a normal item. Take it out by hand and carry it to the next machine, or let pipes do it.
The machines (all crafted at the Workbench)
Steeping Vat β soaks wheat into green malt. Needs water: build it next to water, or put water buckets in (the empty bucket comes back). 12 wood, 2 iron bars. Malt Kiln β dries green malt. Choose the roast in its window: pale, amber or dark β darker takes longer. Needs fuel (anything that burns in a furnace). 16 stone, 2 iron bars. Brewer's Mill β grinds malt, corn, rice and potatoes into grist and crushes fruit into mash. 12 stone, 6 wood, 2 iron bars. Brew Kettle β boils grist with water into wort. Set the hops per 16 grist in its window: pale ale likes 8, amber 4, dark 2; 0 hops makes unhopped wort for whisky. Needs fuel and water. 8 copper bars, 8 stone. Copper Fermenter β ferments wort and mash in half the time, but takes 10 quality points. Needs yeast. 12 copper bars, 2 iron bars. Oak Fermenting Vat β normal speed, normal quality. 16 hardwood, 2 iron bars. Clay Fermenting Crock β twice the time, +10 quality. 16 clay. Copper Still β two blocks wide and two high. First run: wash or wine becomes raw spirit (2 make 1). Second run: raw spirit becomes spirit β and this is where you cut the heart. 16 copper bars, 4 iron bars. Barrels β light wood (fast, up to +15 quality), oak (+25), dark wood (slow, up to +35). Nine jugs per barrel; every jug ages on its own. 10 planks of the wood, 2 iron bars. Bottling Table β fills jugs into empty bottles. 8 wood, 2 iron bars, 2 empty bottles.
Every vessel shows what is in it: the steeping vat shows the grain soaking, draining and sprouting, kettle and fermenters show their liquid changing colour as the batch progresses, the still's bucket fills up. Kiln, kettle and still burn with real fire.
Hops and yeast Hop seeds: 6 life essence at the Farmer's Workbench. Plant them on tilled soil and a three-block pole stands up at once; the vine climbs it, grows leaves, then young and finally ripe cones. Harvest every segment with F β it regrows. Fresh yeast: 2 wheat and 1 red berry at the Cooking Bench make 2. A good fermentation often gives one back. Empty bottles are the normal empty potion bottle.
Quality Every drink has a quality from 0 to 100, shown as 1 to 5 stars. It comes from your work:
- Hops: the closer the kettle dose is to the malt's ideal, the better the beer (up to +25).
- Fermenter: copper β10, oak 0, clay +10.
- The heart cut (spirits only): during the second still run a needle runs along a bar. Press Start when it enters the green zone, Stop when it leaves. A clean cut gives up to +40; a sloppy one never makes the spirit worse than the still's own automatic cut β so everything also works without you.
- Barrel: the longer a jug rests, the better, approaching the wood's maximum. Moving a jug between barrels counts each wood for the time it spent there.
Hover any brewery item to see where its quality comes from and where it goes next; every machine window lists the same for the stacks inside it.
The Spirits Trader Place him with /gbrewtrader place (operators). Press F, put your bottles on the counter and he makes an offer: the longer a drink took to make β barrel time included β and the better it is, the more he pays. The simplest bottle is worth 1 Spirits Voucher; an aged clay-fermented whisky is worth dozens. Your bottles stay yours until you press SELL. He pays in Spirits Vouchers, Spirits Notes (1000 vouchers) and Spirits Bonds (1000 notes), and changes your loose vouchers up when you sell. For server owners this means: all the balancing is already done inside the plugin β buy the vouchers back for your own currency at one fixed rate and you have a brewing economy.
The Brewer's Guide Board The whole chain as one big picture, 12 Γ 6 blocks, readable from across the room. One version hangs on a wall, one stands on the floor. 10 wood and 2 charcoal (14 wood for the standing one).
Commands /gbrew β how the chain works, in game. /gbrewtrader place | remove | list β place the trader where you stand (facing your way), remove the nearest one, list them all. Operators only.
Config (mods/de.glymera_GlymeraBrewery/config.json, every setting explained in the file)
- speedFactor β speeds up the whole brewery at once (1 = normal, 10 = ten times faster, good for trying the chain out). Barrel ageing speeds up with it.
- Processing times of every machine, batch size (16), fuel per batch, yeast return chance.
- Ideal hop ratios, ageing times and barrel bonuses per wood.
- Trader: how strongly a longer production time pays off, and the price factor for 1- and 5-star drinks.
Pipes and hoppers Push ingredients and supplies in from any side, pull finished products out of the output. Inputs, supplies and the running batch cannot be pulled. The quality data travels with every item through pipes.
No other plugins required. Compatible with Hytale 0.7.
