Roadmap
Endless Ember
Endless Ember expands Hytale with advanced fuels, custom machines, magical ore gardening, and molten-metal transport.
What started as long-burning fuel sticks has grown into a connected workshop and farming progression:
- Craft and upgrade powerful fuels.
- Process resources with the Emberpress.
- Create mineral soils and grow magical ore flowers.
- Refine their pollen into valuable metal ingots.
- Melt your ingots and store them in reusable Fluid Cells.
- Build a workshop with detailed, animated machines and glowing display cells.
🔥 Fuel Progression
Work your way through four fuel tiers for longer burn times and fewer refuels:
- MK1: 60 seconds
- MK2: 180 seconds
- MK3: 360 seconds
- Infinite Ember: 3,600 seconds — one full hour
Despite its name, Infinite Ember has a finite burn time. A separate Creative-only utility fuel is available for testing and decorative setups.
🛠 Your Ember Workshop
Tinkertable / Ember Tinkerbench
The crafting hub for Endless Ember. Craft it at the normal Workbench, then upgrade through MK1–MK4 to unlock more of the mod’s progression.
Each tier has its own design: MK1 starts with a simple wooden table, a document, a hammer, and an MK1 fuel stick. Higher tiers add tools, storage, machinery, and the matching fuel tier.
The Machines category brings your workshop equipment together:
- Tinkertable MK1: craft the Emberpress.
- Tinkertable MK2: craft the Ember Crucible and empty Fluid Cells.
These recipes remain available at higher table tiers.
Emberpress
Process ores into chunks, produce pressed charcoal rods for advanced fuels, and turn Survival flower pollen into metal ingots.
Both upgrade tiers feature their own idle and working models, with a moving piston and press plate. MK2 adds reinforced machinery, copper pipes, and an animated pressure gauge.
Ember Crucible
Bring molten-metal handling into your workshop:
- Combine 100 matching metal ingots and one empty Fluid Cell to produce a filled cell.
- Cast a filled cell back into 100 ingots, recovering the empty cell for reuse.
- Both operations require time and fuel.
The crucible features an open melting vessel, firebox, controls, and a capsule cradle.
🧪 Tanks / Fluid Cells
Carry your metal as sealed molten contents, or display it in your workshop.
- One cell holds 100 ingots — one standard ingot stack.
- Supports Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold, Cobalt, Thorium, Adamantite, Mithril, Onyxium, and Prisma.
- Translucent glass reveals the contents, with subtle metal-colored light from filled cells. Empty cells remain unlit.
- Place empty or filled cells as decorations.
- Right-click a placed cell to rotate it in 45° steps, including with an empty hand.
- Use (F by default) to pick it up again, preserving its metal type and contents.
You need the matching ingots before filling a cell. The current system uses complete, sealed cells; partial filling, pipes, and free-flowing metal are not included yet.
🌱 Ember Gardening
Build a renewable metal supply by combining mineral soils, ore flowers, and pollen processing.
Mineral Soil Progression
- Mineral Soil — MK1
- Advanced Mineral Soil — MK2
- Premium Mineral Soil — MK3
Different flowers require different soil tiers. Plant and seed descriptions explain soil requirements, growth times, yields, and processing. Water, light, and fertilizer affect growth.
Survival Ore Flowers
- Conductive Blossom — Copper
- Rust Flower — Iron
- Mirror Flower — Silver
- Blue Star Flower — Cobalt
- Glitter Thistle — Thorium
- Aurum Bloom — Gold
- World Core Bloom — Adamantite
Survival flowers yield one pollen per harvest. Process five matching pollen into one ingot in the Emberpress. Higher-value metals have longer regrowth times, keeping progression meaningful.
Creative Flowers
- Mystical Mountain Eye — Mithril
- Onyxium Heart — Onyxium
- Spectral Bloom — Prisma
These three flowers are Creative-only, with no Survival seed or pollen-to-ingot recipes. Mature Spectral Blooms emit small, rising rainbow sparks.
Harvesting and Effects
Use a sickle to harvest pollen while preserving the plant’s regrowth cycle. Breaking or uprooting a plant removes it.
Plant particles can be set to Full, Reduced, or Off for larger fields. The setting applies to the whole world/server and takes effect after a restart.
🚧 Active Development
Endless Ember is still growing. Future updates will build on the workshop, gardening, and molten-metal systems introduced so far. Feedback and balancing suggestions are welcome!

A quick personal note
This is my first mod project, and I plan to keep expanding it over time. I don’t know yet how far I’ll be able to take it, and I won’t be able to deliver content regularly. I’ve recently become a father, so my top priority is, of course, my family.
If you’d like to follow along, you’re very welcome to join me on this journey! Use and share the mod — and if you’d like, buy me a coffee.
