What's new

Endless Ember – Release Notes 0.4.2026101601

English

Smelting

  • Ember Crucible: a new station for melting metal ingots and filling Fluid Cells. Includes a fuel slot, two input slots, and two output slots.
  • Filling and casting: 100 ingots of one metal and an empty Fluid Cell produce one filled cell. Casting returns all 100 ingots and the empty cell. Both operations require time and fuel.
  • Craft the crucible at the Tinkerbench MK2, in the Machines category, using 40 iron ingots, 20 copper ingots, 50 rock, 10 charcoal, and 2 Super Zündi MK2. Empty Fluid Cells are also crafted there.

New designs

  • Ember Crucible: a large melting vessel, broad firebox, and separate control pedestal.
  • Tinkertable MK1–MK4: each tier has its own increasingly detailed model. MK1 starts with a document, hammer, and Super Zündi MK1. Higher tiers add tools, storage, and machinery alongside the matching Zündi tier; MK4 displays the Legendary Megazündi.
  • Emberpress: both upgrade tiers receive dedicated idle and working models with a moving piston and platen. MK2 adds reinforcement, pressure accumulators, copper pipes, a pressure gauge, and controls. The Emberpress is now crafted at the Tinkertable MK1, in the Machines category.
  • The drive wheel and MK2 pressure needle are also animated; the ember chamber glows during operation.

Tanks / Fluid Cells – including decorative versions

  • Added one empty variant and ten filled variants for copper, iron, silver, gold, cobalt, thorium, adamantite, mithril, onyxium, and prisma.
  • Each Fluid Cell holds 100 ingots – one standard ingot stack.
  • Translucent glass reveals the contents. Filled cells emit subtle metal-colored light; empty cells remain unlit.
  • Empty and filled cells can be placed as decorations. Right-click rotates them in place by 45°, including with an empty hand.
  • Use (F by default) returns the matching cell with its contents. Normal breaking in Survival also returns the same variant; in Creative, use the Use action to retrieve the item.
  • Aiming hints identify the metal and show the 100-ingot contents of filled cells. Added German and English descriptions.

Schmelze

Tanks / Fluid Cells – inklusive Dekoversion
