✨ Features
Shortcut bar
A small, minimalist bar that shows your level, the time to level (or progress, XP/hour or remaining XP) and a thin XP bar. The bar also shows rested XP and, in gold, the XP from completed quests that are ready to turn in.
- Drag it anywhere, right-click to lock it in place.
- Left-click opens the main window.
- Hover for a detailed summary: rate, time to level, kills / quests / runs left, XP in your quest log and when your rested pool will be full.
Main window
- Overview: XP/hour, time to level, session XP and time, level progress over time (session, 24 hours, 7 days or all time), XP/hour per time block and the kills, quests and runs left to level up.
- Levels: cumulative played time chart (you can compare it against another character), a per-level table (played time, real time, XP, main source, difference) and summary tiles.
- Characters: every tracked character with level, played time, average time per level, estimated rested XP (it keeps growing while you're offline) and when you last played it. Export a character's levels as CSV.
- Sources: XP by source (monsters, quests, exploration, pet battles, other) and by activity (open world, dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, scenarios, delves).
- Runs: every dungeon, delve and scenario run with its duration, XP and XP/hour. Switch to Records to see your level goal and account records: fastest time for each level, best session, best hour, biggest gain and best run.
- Stats: 40+ statistics for one character or your whole account.
- Summary: fastest and slowest level, best and longest session, deaths, rested share, most repeated instance…
- When: XP per weekday and per hour, best day, streaks.
- Where: XP, kills, quests and XP/hour per zone.
- Prey: your most killed creatures and best-rewarded quests.
Goals and alerts
- Set a level goal with an optional deadline. Your recent pace projects whether you'll make it.
- Set an XP goal per session.
- Get alerts when you reach a goal, beat a record or run out of rested XP, plus a milestone every 10 levels.
And more
- Session summary at login, and
/xpl sessionto compare your current session with the previous one. - Level-up summary in chat: played and real time spent on the level and its main XP source.
- Two interface styles:
- Blizzard (default): built from the game's own templates and art, so it looks native in every client.
- Minimal: a flat, compact look.
- Data Broker feed for Titan Panel, ElvUI, Bazooka and similar addons, plus an entry in the Retail/Forever addon compartment.
- Goes passive at max level: nothing new is recorded and the bar hides, but
/xplstill opens your history and the rested XP of your alts.

⚙️ How it works
- XP rate: XP/hour is measured over a rolling window (15 minutes by default). Breaks only count up to the idle threshold, so going AFK doesn't ruin your estimate. Your session survives a
/reloador a quick relog. - Exact time per level: uses
/played, so a level's played time is exact even if you installed the addon partway through it. The chat reply is hidden automatically. - XP sources: the game doesn't say where your XP comes from, so XPLedger matches each gain with what happened at the same moment (a kill, a quest turn-in, exploration or a pet battle). It uses the client's own strings, so it works in any language.
- Alt rested XP: your rested pool is saved at logout and keeps growing offline at the game's rate (5% of a level every 8 hours in an inn or city, a quarter of that elsewhere, up to 150%).
- Runs: a run starts when you enter a party or scenario instance and ends when you leave. If you come back within 10 minutes (a corpse run), it counts as the same run.
⚠️ Known limitations
- Since Midnight, addons may not be able to read chat messages in combat or inside instances. When that happens, XPLedger counts the XP as coming from monsters, which is right in almost every case. The creature ranking in Stats can miss some of those kills on Retail.
- Levels gained before you installed the addon have no history. The level you were on at that point is marked as partially tracked, but its played time is still exact.
