Forever XPBar (TR/DE/EN)

An XP tracking bar for WoW Anniversary realms. The bar color changes based on your class.

Adapted for the WoW Forever Beta.

Notes specific to Forever

- In the Forever beta, the SavedVariables file is written by the client
  when the session closes, but it is not read upon the next login (a known
  Blizzard bug). Because of this, the bar’s position, lock, and scale may
  reset to their defaults on every login; the add-on is not affected by this and does not crash,
  but you may need to reconfigure the settings. Once Blizzard fixes this,
  no further action will be required.
- If an unknown event occurs (new client, subject to change in the future), the add-on
  will now display a warning in the chat window and continue running
  instead of crashing completely.
- The bar automatically hides at the current level cap (70 in Anniversary, 60 in Forever);
  since this value isn’t hardcoded, no additional configuration
  is required.

Installation (WoW: Forever beta, build 1.60.1)

1. Close World of Warcraft.
2. Copy the “ForeverXPbar” folder to this location:
   World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns\
   (This is the folder used in the beta version; if Blizzard changes
   this folder name at the November 4, 2026 launch, update it accordingly.)
3. Launch the game and enable it from the Add-ons screen. Since it uses the Forever Retail/Mainline
   API, you can ignore any “Out of date” warning that appears;
   the .toc file also includes interface number 16001.

Commands

English commands also continue to work:
/fxp unlock       Unlocks the bar; you can drag it with the left mouse button.
/fxp lock           Locks the bar.
/fxp scale 1.2    Changes the size (between 0.6 and 2.0).
/fxp reset          Resets the position and current tracking statistics..

Language Support

/fxp language tr          Sets the panel and message language to Turkish (default).
/fxp language en        Sets the panel and message language to English.
/fxp language de        Sets the panel and message language to German.
