TSM Price Charts

TSM Price Charts is a price-history addon for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary. It records TradeSkillMaster price observations and turns them into clear intraday and daily charts.

Track individual items, TSM Groups, or favorite TSM Shopping searches, then compare prices over one day, one week, one month, or three months. Your history is stored locally and remains available across addon updates.

TradeSkillMaster is required. TradeSkillMaster AppHelper is optional but recommended.

Alpha testing version

TSM Price Charts is currently in alpha testing. You may encounter bugs or incomplete behavior. Please use the addon's Feedback button to share your experience and help improve the addon.

Price history at a glance

• View every recorded snapshot in the 1D range.
• View daily history across 1W, 1M, and 3M ranges.
• Compare multiple price sources on one chart.
• Hover chart points for their timestamp, source, and complete gold, silver, and copper value.
• See current prices, price changes, and daily high/low information.
• Right-click an individual 1D snapshot to delete it after confirmation.
• Keep your selected range and price sources between sessions.

Multiple price sources

TSM Price Charts can display any combination of:

• Min buyout — Scanned by me
• Market estimate — Scanned by me
• Min buyout — From TSM DB

Each source has a stable color, making it easy to compare current Auction House observations with TSM database prices.

The scanned market estimate uses a quantity-weighted median with adaptive outlier rejection to reduce the effect of isolated or unrealistic listings.

Track the items that matter

Add items in several ways:

• Enter an item ID, item link, TSM item string, or item name.
• Shift-click an item while the addon window is open.
• Drop an item anywhere on the addon window.
• Select items from your TSM Group hierarchy.
• Select items from favorite TSM Shopping searches.
• Use Select all and Clear all for bulk Group or Favorite selection.

Manual additions, Groups, and Favorites share one synchronized tracked state.

Pin important items to keep them at the top of the list. Removing an item stops tracking it but preserves its recorded history, which becomes visible again if the item is re-added.

Automatic price recording

TSM Price Charts records supported price observations while you use TradeSkillMaster at the Auction House.

Use Scan tracked to record current observations for eligible tracked items. A progress bar shows the scan status, and interrupted scans retain the results that were completed.

A 10-minute per-item cooldown prevents duplicate scan observations. Manual recording and AppHelper observations remain available independently.

Use /tsmpc record whenever you want an immediate manual snapshot.

Stored history

Raw timestamped observations are retained for 90 days by default. Older history is compacted into daily OHLC summaries.

Tracked items, history, Groups, Favorites, pins, cooldowns, and interface selections are shared between characters on the same realm and faction. Other realm/faction profiles remain separate.

Your saved history and settings are stored by World of Warcraft in your account's SavedVariables. They are not included in the CurseForge ZIP and are not replaced when the addon is updated.

Installation and use

Install TSM Price Charts together with TradeSkillMaster, then log in or reload the interface.

Open the addon using any of these methods:

• Click Price Charts at the Auction House.
• Left-click the minimap button.
• Type /tsmpc or /tsmpricecharts.

The minimap button can be dragged to a new position. Use /tsmpc minimap, /tsmpc minimap on, or /tsmpc minimap off to control its visibility.

Feedback and diagnostics

Click Feedback beside the build number or middle-click the minimap button to open a copy-ready link to the feedback form.

Footer diagnostics are hidden by default. Toggle them with /tsmpc debug, /tsmpc debug on, /tsmpc debug off, or Shift+right-click on the minimap button.

Use /tsmpc status to print addon, TSM, AppHelper, database, and Auction House status information.

• English UI text is currently required

TSM 4.14 does not expose public extension APIs for every needed Auction House and catalog operation. Where necessary, TSM Price Charts uses narrow, guarded, read-only compatibility adapters. It never mutates TSM's saved data or addon files. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by TradeSkillMaster LLC.
